After a long drive to the campground, the last thing you feel like doing is maneuvering your RV into a tight campsite space - especially in the dark! This wireless backup camera system gives you peace of mind that you'll be able to back up more safely, even at nighttime or in other low-light conditions.
No more wondering if you're getting too close to another vehicle, tree, curb, or your kid's bike while backing up! The rear assist marker lines take out the guesswork to avoid collisions and safely maneuver your RV. The lines are displayed in 3 different colors (green, yellow, and red) to help gauge the proximity of objects within your view.
And depending on your camera setup, this system allows you to add up to 4 cameras (additional wireless cameras sold separately) and view all angles simultaneously. This is great for when you're backing up at the campground or changing lanes on the highway, as it'll let you keep an eye on everything going on around your RV without needing assistance from others.
And because this camera has 12 infrared LEDs, you'll have a clear picture even in low-light conditions at dusk or in complete darkness at night. These LEDs provide ample illumination up to 35' should you arrive at the campsite after dark and need to back up into your parking spot.
Worried about making sure you're covered in the event of an accident? The recording setting on this camera lets you record video footage onto an SD card or a TF card (not included) in 10-second, 30-second, 1-minute, 5-minutes, or 10-minute intervals. You can either manually record footage, or you can record it in a loop. So if you choose manual recording in a 10-minute interval, it'll only record once for those 10 minutes. If you choose loop recording in a 10-minute interval, it'll keep recording 10 minutes at a time until your SD card or TF card is full.
This camera system includes 2 different mounting options for the monitor, depending on how you want to display it on your RV's dashboard. If you want a permanent mounting solution, drill the butterfly mount or the U-bracket into the dashboard. Or, if you want to be able to re-position the monitor later on, you can stick the butterfly mount onto the dashboard with the included adhesive backing. To power the monitor, simply plug it into a 12-volt light or cigarette lighter outlet.
Because this system is wireless, installation is much easier than it would be with a wired system, as you'll only need to do minimal drilling and wiring. Just bolt the camera down with the included hardware and connect to your RV's wiring system. If you intend to use this system only for backing up, wire the camera to the reverse lights. If you prefer to use it to keep an eye on your rig on the highway, wire the camera to the running lights.

The wiring harness hooks up to the cigarette wiring harness with three wires hanging out and then plugs into your screen, couldn't they have just had the cigarette wiring harness plug into the screen? I gave two stars because the product works but a question it longevity and durability.
No problem install.I like dealing with E-Trailer
Hooked it right up everything work great easy install
This unit was purchased to provide a rear view when towing my travel trailer, for monitoring traffic directly behind and rear view assist when backing up.
When it works, the image is good. Unfortunately, the image freezes and signal drops often between the camera and the receiver. The camera is mounted on the back of my travel trailer (23ft., pin to bumper) while the receiver/screen is mounted on the hump between the front seats of my pickup (extended cab with bed cap, not sure of length). Obviously this distance and amount of obstruction between the two components is too much. Also, often settings are lost, as suddenly I'll lose the mirror setting (necessary to see the same view one would see as looking in a rear view mirror) and be left with the disconcerting view of the lanes behind swapped left for right; selected camera view (4 possible, but I am only using one) also changes and doesn't accept my selection at random. When the unit is working, the view has an update rate (not true video), so that you see staggered motion, much like many have become accustomed to using Zoom or other applications for computer/ video conferencing; not a huge problem at slow speeds, but not reliable for safe judgement at highway speeds. My next step to make this thing work better is to extend the antenna in some fashion, for which further research is needed (and for which one star was added in this review). Don't expect help from the manual; its minimal, English -as-a-second-language format requires a great deal of self interpretation to glean the most basic operational concerns. I purchased this make specifically because my travel trailer was prewired for it and it was the recommended brand. So far a very unsatisfactory experience.
Very clear image.
Bought this after trying to find the camera system that went with new trailer. Fits the bracket, but power plug was reversed on trailer. Not that big of a deal to swap, but not plug and play either. Camera comes pre-paired with monitor but you have to remove the camera from bracket to reach the button if you need to pair it again (not fun bringing ladder out to do so). Picks up well sitting still as the surroundings help bounce signal to the monitor. Moving on the open road results in signal strength loss due to a lack of surroundings on the interstates. Read other reviews about this and bought a magnetic external antenna (any 2.4 ghz WiFi antenna has the same fitting). Camera was able to reach the monitor over 95% of the time with limited loss of signal. Did not try with antenna inside of truck as it takes up a lot of space on the dash. This was on my 42’ fifth wheel. Other con is the there is no picture adjustment on the monitor not a big thing but sometimes the picture needs a little tweak to me.
As always delivery was on time as promised, product was just what I ordered as recommend by etrailer. Installation was not as easy as shown for a plug and play unit. I have a Chapperrel 34' 5th wheel camper that was pre wired and was told this was the correct camera. I had to drill a small hole in bracket to feed the antenna wire through due to the company only providing a very short antenna extension. Once complete, Picture was clear and strong signal while sitting in yard. Haven't taken it out yet, but feel comfortable it will be fine with a full bar signal. I give it 4 stars due to installation. Took about an hour to install.
I haven’t installed it yet. The wiring diagram leaves a bit to be desired. The diagram for the receiver shows three trigger wires with zero explanation as to what trigger wires are used for. I had to do my own research to figure them out. The blue wire in the diagram is labeled green and the green wire is labeled blue. Definitely confusing.
I like it, however how do you get it off night mode so the color is correct?
Worst owners manual I have encountered! Also screen color and quality leaves a lot to be desired. No registration included.
Horrible, if it wasn’t because I waited too long to install it and learned how bad it is I would have returned it...

Hi john, Thanks for your feedback! The night mode function should be an automatic function for the monitor and camera. The best option would be to go into the camera picture settings, and see if you can adjust all the picture options, as they may have been set all in one direction.
