How Do I Mount the Back Up Camera for the Furrion Vision S+?

Published 08/12/2025

Question:

Hello, how is the camera mounted? Cannot find any mounting instructions. My camper is not pre configured for any such cameras. Does the Furrion Vision S+ purchase include hardware for mounting the camera? Thank you

Hey Michael. The backup camera that comes with the Furrion Vision S+ System item # FR57AD has built in mounting holes in the casing. It comes with four #6 x 3/4" flat head self-tapping screws, four #4 x 1/4" self-tapping screws, sealant, and insulation tape to complete the installation.

What tow vehicle are you using?

Hi Jarred, wonderful answer. My set - up is a Ram 1500 hauling an Alaskan slide - in camper . I would like to ask you if the Furrion monitor has a re chargeable battery and could it operate without the provided charge cable or USB connector? Finally, for clarity purposes, this camera system claims to be wireless. Is there (any) cable connection from the camera to the monitor? Thanks again, Mike P.

@MichaelP You're welcome! Glad you liked it. The monitor included with the Furrion Vision S+ System item # FR57AD has to be plugged in to function. It does not have the ability to be battery powered. This is an entirely wireless system as far as connectivity with the signal goes. The only wires are those needed to connect to a power source.
