This Yakima BaseLine setup gives you everything you need to haul gear on vehicles without factory rails. It comes as a full system with 2 JetStream crossbars, 4 BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit. The aluminum construction gives you solid support with a 165-lb weight capacity, so you can load up your kayaks, cargo boxes, or camping equipment with confidence.
Driving with crossbars doesn’t have to mean dealing with constant wind noise. These JetStream bars use an aero-style shape that helps smooth airflow and reduce drag. The rubber strips in the top channels stay in place and close back around your mounts, cutting down on whistling and vibration while keeping things streamlined.
Some racks make you trim the channel strips before mounting accessories—these don’t. The push-down rubber strips in the top channels let you press your accessory hardware directly into place. The strips flex and seal around the mounts, so setup is quick and clean with no cutting or extra parts needed.
Whether it’s water season or snow season, this rack handles it all. The crossbars work with most universal cargo boxes, watercraft carriers, snow carriers, and bike racks that mount in the top channels or clamp around the bars. That flexibility means you can use the same setup for weekend trips, long road adventures, or everyday hauling.
You can upgrade to Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores when you’re ready for more security. They slip right into the BaseLine towers to help deter theft of the rack when parked at a trailhead or campsite.
