Question:
I have a 2020 jeep grand cherokee limited. I was going to install the Yakima JetStream Cross Bars. Im trying to figure out what box will fit on top of that and still be able to open the rear hatch. I need it to fit my skis which are 167cm. Any guidance would be appreciated. I have black and chrome flush rails (see photo).

For your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee with black/chrome flush factory rails, I recommend installing the reliable
Yakima JetStream Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 50" Long - Qty 2 # Y00428. In order to install these, you will also need Towers # Y53TR and Landing Pads # Y00244. The weight capacity is 165lbs, but you will want to verify that your vehicle roof can handle that much weight (owner's manual).
As far as the cargo box, you will be able to accommodate the largest size we offer and still fully open your rear hatch. That is the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 22 cu ft # TH629907 (titan glossy) or # TH629906 (black glossy). This model comes with a gargantuan 22 cubic feet of space and can accommodate skis up to 215cm long. If you want something smaller that still can fit your skis, I recommend the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft # TH615. The Pulse accommodates skis up to 181cm.
