Question:
Is this adapter compatible with Thule Aeroblades? I have the Yakima Skyline towers on my 2016 Forester 2.5i and have a set of corebars currently, but I want to upgrade to either the Yakima Jetstream or Thule Aeroblades for their T slots. Thanks!

The Replacement Adapter and Seat # 8880637 is designed for Yakima JetStream bars but we do have a review showing them being used with Thule WingBars so it does look like they will physically fit together. With that being said, I recommend sticking with Yakima products just because if you do happen to experience any faults with the system (which there shouldn't be any) it would be a lot easier to work with Yakima or Thule if you can show that you're using the product as intended and you aren't cobbling pieces together. The choice is ultimately up to you though so I will have both the Yakima and the Thule crossbars listed below so you can at least make sure you get the correct ones to fit your 2016 Subaru Forester.
Yakima (preferred)
50" Long JetStream - Black # Y00425 or Silver # Y00428
Thule (will fit)
47" Long WingBar Evo - Black # TH711220 or Silver # TH711200

Good afternoon, I would like to clarify what I am reading..... I currently have a 2017 Honda CR-V Touring with stock flush mount rail. I purchased a Yakima crossbar set consisting of : -Yakima Jetstream 60 -Yakima Skyline Towers -Yakima Landing Pad 19 Is the 60 inch Jetstream crossbars too long for my vehicle? I have a Thule Aeroblade 53 inch (ARB53) from another vehicle......can I install this onto the Yakima Skyline towers? Looking at the pic, looks like you can......better question is if it is safe to do so? Thank you DV
