Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're going to take a real quick look at this Replacement Master Cylinder Filler Cap. This is going to replace the Master Cylinder Filler Cap for your Dexter Model 60 or Aero 7,500 Actuator. Now this will also fit the Dico Model 60 Actuators. And as you probably have already seen, this does feature a built-in O ring. And just so you can have the further confidence that this is going to work for you, let me see if I can give you some measurements here, lining this up with my ruler.
Looking at the overall diameter, we are sitting right at about an inch and a half with the overall diameter. Let me try to give you the inner diameter. Lining this up here, so it looks like we're sitting right at about an inch and a quarter on that inner diameter. So this includes this one master cylinder filler cap. And that's going to conclude our brief look today.

This was exactly what I needed for my Tie-Down engineering model 66 brake actuator. Perfect fit. Took a little longer than some other ordering options but the price was right.
Etrailer is GREAT providing me the contact details for the manufacturer. They should reimburse me. This negative review is for the manufacturer's mistake in making this crucial piece of equipment out of EDIBLE plastic. That is right, the yahoos made this from biodegradable plastic which a squirrel or rat chewed threw and ATE. Now I need to suck the old brake fluid out and add new because water may have entered. I will apply metallic tape to this and hopefully it will not be eaten off as well.
I needed a remote brake fluid reservoir cap for a 1963 Studebaker Hawk GT. None of the Studebaker parts vendors stock the cap so I figured I’d give yours a try and it fit perfectly. It almost looks original

The hydraulic brake cap was a direct replacement for our Four Winns boat trailer and was easy to install and get the brakes functional again. E-trailer customer service was great when another part on our order was delayed they made sure the rest of the order proceeded so as not to delay repairs.
the cap for the fluid resovior on my boat traler brakes was exactly what i needed. I am well satified with the part. All the parts for the entire brake system wer in stock but the cap at first i was told was not available. That did not make sense. trying again with a different tech and a part number i found online from a different sourse helped get one ordered. Then took three week. I recomend stocking this item.
The master cylinder cap, T4480701, threaded perfectly on another type of master cylinder I was rebuilding.
The very nice feature of this part is the fact that it's designed with a diaphragm. The diaphragm helps keep the moisture laden atmosphere out, very important when using brake fluids that are hygroscopic.

identical to my cylinder filler cap on a Fulton A60B Surge Brake Actuator.
This fits Titan 60 and 7500 actuators. I destroyed the original just trying to remove it. Glad I found a replacement. Local trailer places couldn't even get their hands on it.
A nice upgrade to the old metal one, really nice seal so you don’t over tighten. Finish is nice edges and sharp corners for great tool fit.

bought an extra cap because when I bought a new master cylinder (that came with a cap also). Nice think is these caps are better then the original one I had from 1993 which had a small hole for venting on only ruined the dot 3 fluid with water. New caps have a rubber plug to prevent this

Trailer is going strong. Been fishing quite a bit this summer. Its nice to not have to worry about a break down and focus on catching fish.
