If you are needing to replace a lost or damage nut retainer that works with the jam nut, identified by the redline part number 6-191, identified by the redline part number 6-191, then this is exactly what you are going to need. This is made in the USA. And just for size comparison, the overall diameter, we are sitting right at about an inch and 5/8 for the diameter.

However, Dexter (I ordered original Dexter parts) needs to up the game on packaging. I ordered four hub assemblies and the bearings were placed in a plastic bag which I'm sure banged around on the hub. A bubble envelope would have been nice to protect the bearings.
I'm looking forward to upgrading my trailer with new Dexter Nev-R-Adjust brakes as was getting tired of constantly manually adjusting the brakes. Glad that etrailer has all the parts I need to do the job.

This product not seem to fit the axle nut as snuggly I wanted. I actually went back to the old cotter pin, because it felt as though it might come off if I hit a big bump.

Been a year, seals
Nice stock retaining nut. Fits as should and does what it should. Replaced missing one on my trailer after bearings disengrated and destroyed nut.
