Normally I order most everything from Amazon, but when it comes to ordering the exact parts, and getting exceptional customer service, I turn to etailer. Yes, their prices are higher than Amazon, but they also stock everything needed and ship and deliver it, fast. All my items were received in timely fashion. Great service @ etrailer.
However, Dexter (I ordered original Dexter parts) needs to up the game on packaging. I ordered four hub assemblies and the bearings were placed in a plastic bag which I'm sure banged around on the hub. A bubble envelope would have been nice to protect the bearings.
I'm looking forward to upgrading my trailer with new Dexter Nev-R-Adjust brakes as was getting tired of constantly manually adjusting the brakes. Glad that etrailer has all the parts I need to do the job.

This product not seem to fit the axle nut as snuggly I wanted. I actually went back to the old cotter pin, because it felt as though it might come off if I hit a big bump.

Hi Alex, To remove the spool so you can install mounting bolts all you have to do is remove the pal nut, pull out the pin, and then remove the roller. Once you've installed the bracket, reinstall the pin and roller with the pal nut/cap nut. Hey Joel. To answer your first question, # 6-191 is the nut, # 6-190 is the nut retainer/washer, # 21-42-1 is the dust cap, and # RG04-010 is the rubber plug you're looking for. Your second questions assumption is correct, the only difference between the two is the seal and the pricing could be a whole list of things. Hey Juan, We do have just the nut retainer individually available as part # 6-190. For the hub cap we do have a replacement hub cap with rubber plug available for a 2.72" hub bore diameter # TRU66FR. Hey Dave, There unfortunately isn't a way for us to look up the bearings and grease seals by using the model number or VIN for the trailer, we would instead need to see the axle tag sticker on the axle tube to be able to look up the parts.
