Can Spindle Retainer Nut Be Used Instead of Tang Washer on Trailer Axle

Question:

My boat trailer Bear Trailer has an Axis? axle with E-Z Lube system. Can I change from using a spindle tang washer to a Nut Retainer Clip? If so, what other changes/parts would this require? Thanks,

Yes, you can simply use the nut retainer part # 6-191 on your spindle nut instead of the tang washer setup and it would work just fine. The EZ lube fitting would not be an issue at all.
