Replacement Retainer For Spindle Nut On a Dexter Axle Hub 8-248

Question:
dexter axle p-15 model SLR sn d 7978356 my stud will not accept a cotter pin it has an external clip I have never seen before holding the retaining nut in place dexter 8-248 hub have I chosen the correct part from you?

It sounds like your axle uses the Nut Retainer # 6-190. If this is not what you have please send me a picture of the retainer and I will verify the correct replacement.
