  • Internal back-check prevents gas from leaking out of the regulator inlet
  • Thermal shut-off device turns off gas flow in extreme heat
  • Durable thermoplastic construction

    • Type 1 tank connection
    • 1/4" Male NPT
  • Maximum flow capacity: 200,000 Btu per hour

This propane hose is ideal for travel trailers with a split-tank system. This kind of system features 1 cylinder on the driver's side and 1 cylinder on the passenger's side of your trailer. This hose connects the cylinder on the passenger's side to a high-pressure regulator. An additional hose (sold separately) will then carry the propane from the high-pressure regulator to the 2-stage regulator on the driver's side of your trailer.

MB Sturgis RV Type 1 Connection

Compared with other Type 1 connectors, this dark green MB Sturgis Type 1 connector provides the highest flow rate possible before going into bypass mode. As a result, this pigtail will help to ensure that your propane setup will be able to power all of your appliances, even if they require high-pressure gas.

Type 1 connectors go into bypass mode if the flow rate surpasses the maximum flow capacity for that connector. When maximum capacity is reached, a ball inside of the fitting will push an internal spring down and press firmly against the bottom of the fitting to shut off the flow of gas. This MB Sturgis dark green Type 1 connector not only provides a higher flow rate compared to cylinder connectors of different colors, but it also offers a higher rate when compared with dark green cylinder connectors from other manufacturers.

The short, 12 inch, original propane hoses on my toy hauler made it difficult to access and remove the tanks for refill. The new 20 inch long hoses I ordered and installed make removing and refilling the propane tanks much easier. Good product, good price. Thanks.

No leaks yet! This replaced a MB Sturgis hose on my used truck camper that developed an intermittent leak on the Propane tank side that I could not figure out how or why it was happening (very Dangerous) initially it seemed like I was doing something wrong attaching it to the propane Anyway, the old hose came with the camper and was not purchased here. So far the replacement has worked fine. I would advise people to do a leak down test at least annually and check fittings regularly. I now check all fittings with bubble solution on each trip. Your nose is also a good tool to use in addition to the other methods.

I was able to order a number of different parts for my camping trailer: tires; replacement shower parts; and propane lines. I am very satisfied with everything about e-trailer and will definitely look at their website first when looking for similar items and trailer parts for both the cars and the camper.

Item has worked well. Previously installed dual hoses, one became brittle the other and I wasn't aware of this until researching was a different color fitting. Every time I ran my generator on that line it would not run right until I found different color fittings have different pressure regulation's. Replaced the lines and so far nothing brittle and no generator issues.

  • Replacement Propane Hose for Marshall HP424
According to my research, the Marshall HP424 does have a Type 1 connection (which connects to your propane tank) and a 1/4" Male NPT connection (which connects to a dual-stage regulator).
