Replacement Propane Parts For 2016 Jayco Trailer

Updated 01/11/2017 | Published 01/10/2017

Question:

Hi, Our 2016 Jayco has a propane pigtail that leaks. It is 12inch so closest option you offer appears to be 100473-20-MBS, with the 1/4inch Male NPT fitting. When I took off the leaking pigtail, a few parts fell out of the end that attaches to the regulator. It is a small plastic screen, a plastic tube and a metal ball. What is that? A pressure valve of sorts? Unfortunately I lost some of the parts, do you sell replacements? Are they absolutely necessary for proper operation? Thanks,

It sounds like the check valve on your regulator has come apart. Those are necessary for the operation of the propane system so you will need a new regulator. You may not have a leak on the hose and find out that the regulator was the culprit all along, but it is always safer to replace the hose as well.

If the # 100473-20-MBS has the correct fittings, you may need a single stage regulator like part # CAM59013. This regulator has a 1/4-inch NPT inlet and a 3/8 inch NPT outlet connector I have attached a link to our website for the propane regulators we offer.
