  • Pigtail Hoses
  • 1-1/2 Feet Long
  • 1/4 Inch - MIF
  • Type 1 - Female
  • MB Sturgis

Pigtail makes the connection from the propane tanks on your trailer to the propane regulator on your trailer. Check valve prevents hazardous backflow leakage and is suitable for dual-tank setups.

Features:

  • Propane pigtail connects your propane cylinder to a regulator
    • Used for single or dual tank setups on the front of your travel trailer
  • Female Type 1 fitting connects to the valve on your propane cylinder
  • Male Inverted flare connects to a propane regulator
  • Built-in bypass mode shuts gas off when flow reaches maximum capacity for safety
    • Thermal shut-off device turns off gas flow in extreme heat caused by open flame
    • Excess-flow safety device limits gas flow in the event of a severe leak
  • Durable thermoplastic hose and brass fittings approved for LP gas only
    • Rated for high pressure and high flow rate to handle unregulated propane
    • UL569 and ANSI Z21-81 certified
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Temperature range: -40 F to 140 F
  • Hose dimensions: 20" long x 1/4" inner diameter
  • Hose fittings:
    • Type 1 tank connection
    • 1/4" Male inverted flare
  • Maximum pressure rating: 350 psi
  • Maximum flow capacity: 450,000 Btu per hour
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Bypass Mode for Safety

This Type 1 connector will go into bypass mode if the flow rate surpasses the maximum flow capacity for this connector, which is 450,000 Btu per hour. A ball inside of the fitting will push an internal spring down, pressing firmly against the bottom of the fitting to shut off the flow of gas.

When choosing a Type 1 connector, consider your overall propane demands and choose a connector with a flow rate that just exceeds it. That way, you won't trigger the bypass mode during normal use, but it will trigger in the event of a leak. If the bypass valve engages, stop using gas and start checking your connections for leaks.

  • Replacement Propane Hose Pigtail for Connecting Regulator and Propane Tank on Camper
I looked up the hose and the regulator you currently have, and found that the GHA7 hose uses an ACME Nut connector to the LP tank and a 1/4 inch male inverted flare that connects to the 3/8 to 1/4 adapter used on the regulator. We offer the necessary pigtails in many lengths for rubber hose, you can use # 37207-30755 for a 2 foot length, # 37207-30775 for a 3 foot length or # CAM59183 for a 4 foot length. If you'd prefer braided steel hose for durability, use part # 100833-24 for a 2...

  • Replacement Propane Pigtail for a 2021 Grand Design Imagine 22MLE Travel Trailer
Thanks for the photos! Yes, the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail w/ Back Check # 100575-12-MBS has the connections needed for both the regulator and the propane tank on your 2021 Grand Design Imagine 22MLE travel trailer. If you wanted to get a pigtail longer than 12" (to ensure you aren't placing pressure on that joint) then I recommend checking out part # 100575-20-MBS which is the same thing just with a 20" length instead of a 12" length.

  • What Style Connector Do I need on my Replacement Propane Pigtail Hose
There are different options depending on what style connector you have. I have included an option for both an NPT and MIF. You would just want to check what style is on your hose to ensure you get the correct hose. NPT MB Sturgis Propane Hose w/ Back Check # 100473-20-MBS MIF MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail # 100575-20-MBS Both of these hoses have internal back checks and will let you power all of your RV's appliances. If you look at your regulator and and there are two brass adapters at...

  • 20 inch Propane Hose Pigtail Recommendation with Best Price
I attached a link to a page that has all of the 20 inch pigtail adapters we offer like that you mentioned from the three brands MB Sturgis, Camco, and JR Products. If it were me I would go with the MB Sturgis part # 100575-20-MBS as it has the best price by far and is made in the USA unlike other options. We just happen to get a really great price on it and are able to pass on the savings! I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.

  • Can the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail # 100575-20-MBS be Connected Directly to Regulator
Typically a regulator will have a 1/4" Female NPT inlet, like what the MB Sturgis Vertical 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 108220 has. For the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail # 100575-20-MBS to connect to your regulator you will need the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Fitting # 402258-MBS. If you already have the gold adapter fitting with the Female Inverted Flare fitting then the adapter is not needed.

  • Replacement Pigtail and Regulator for RV with Winntec 6020
Thanks for the picture of the pigtail you are looking for. The part # 100575-20-MBS that you referenced is just what you need. The other parts in your picture are most likely from the regulator so for a new one of those as well you'd want the # 108220 for a dual stage regulator with more than enough BTU rating.

  • Two-Stage Regulator With Automatic Changeover For Dual Propane Tanks
Thank you for the photo it was helpful, and what it shows is you do have the standard dual propane tank set up, so you can absolutely use the MB Sturgis regulator you asked about: - MB Sturgis High Capacity Two-Stage Auto Changeover Regulator # 888001-MBS Then if you'd also like new hoses what you can use are the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail - Type 1 x 1/4" Male Inverted Flare - 15 inches # 100575-15-MBS or 20 inches # 100575-20-MBS.

  • Replacement Automatic Changeover and Pigtails for Propane Tanks
The Compact Low Pressure 2-Stage Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-31525 doesn't have a specific length requirement for the pigtail connections. You can absolutely use the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail - Stainless Overbraid - Type 1 x 1/4" Male Inverted Flare - 2' # 100833-24 but they are 3 times longer than your current pigtails. If you just want slightly longer hoses you can use the Propane Hose with Back Check - Type 1 x 1/4" Male Inverted Flare - 1-1/2' # 37207-30735 or...

  • Propane Hose That Is Rated For 350 PSI That Has A Type-1 Fitting
The pigtail hose like the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail # 100575-20-MBS you reference isn't measured in PSI but rather BTU's based on it's function. For a type 1 fitting that is similar to # 100575-20-MBS mentioned earlier that also has a PSI rating of 350, is the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose for Small Appliance # 100555-72-MBS.
