This rack is built to handle serious loads with an 800-lb dynamic capacity. The over-cab design keeps long items like ladders, lumber, or kayaks secure and out of the bed, so you can still use the space below. At about 42 lbs, it’s strong but easy to manage thanks to the lightweight aluminum build. You don’t have to drill holes or modify your truck to get it installed. The rack clamps directly to your bed rails with J-bolts, washers, and nuts—two per base. Once tightened down, the uprights stay solid, giving you dependable support for work tools or weekend gear. This simple setup also makes it easy to remove the rack when you need full bed access.
Four load stops come standard and slide anywhere along the crossbars. Each one locks firmly in place with a hand knob so your ladders, boards, or boats stay right where you want them. They also double as tie-down points, giving you more ways to secure awkward loads without extra parts or straps.
The aluminum frame won’t rust or weigh you down, while a black powder-coated finish protects against chips and scratches. Came exactly on time. During Covid inventory Was slow worldwide, but the company contacted me ahead of time and found a comparable product which fits and looks great on the truck.
The rack was easy to assemble and install. I am a contractor so I use it for ladders and pipe. It has held up well except one of the loops on top already broke.
Good product do not use power tools I broke one of the screws
Easy install, I was able to pretty much do it myself, other than a moment I needed a hand to set the front rack in place. (I have a couple boxes mounted on a rat pack. Not a normal situation). I am very happy with it, it bolts up nice and tight, no rattling noises. My only issue is I am missing one (1)j hook, probably more to do with the shipper than the manufacturer.

The racks I got are great. Just one problem it sits to high over the roof of my truck. To bad it couldn't adjust it would really be great.
Overall truck rack is nice. Missing a nut. When you tightened nuts for cross struts they pull through the aluminum. Easily overtighten needs steel so the carriage bolts dont pull through.
Bought the rack to carry kayaks. It works well and is easy to remove when not needed, which was a big advantage to this style for me. After 1 year, no issues have been found with quality and durability. The rack performs as expected.
As I stated in my first post. I received my purchase quicker than expected. The rack was pretty easy to assemble. Good quality and a great price. Looks great. My only problem was the 4 bolts that secure the adjustment knows did not slide into the track.I had to grind back the square part of the bolts to attach them to the knobs.
Good fit and easy to install. Took 45 minutes. Do not overtighten the bolts on the crossbars. They will strip out.
Order arrived at my house in a beat up package. The order came without the hardware and was missing brackets too. What was is the package was scratched and looked very used. Nothing was wrapped inside and the hardware boxes were broken and empty. etrailer should let you know that when you purchase a product it may come damaged and missing parts. Had to drive 3 hours to get one that came in manufacturers packaging. I also need to drive an hour to return to closest UPS center to return product. etrailer take 2 days to produce a return label.
first do they make kayak mounts for this thing, if i could make a suggestion because trying to load a kayak by yourself it would be nice to have the rear rack adjustable for loading , once loaded raise it and put pins in a hole when it is level.
The welds broke on this product after the first use. I used this rack system for two kayaks. The bolt attachment from the supports to the horizontal bars is very sensitive and Stripped out when taking the rack apart. Not happy with this purchase.
Just bought a set of racks to carry my kayak . Got a great set, easy to put together, simple install great price, quality parts, and they look awesome . Together with the Malone foam kayak blocks make hauling my kayak safe, secure, and easy to load unload.
Every time I use my truck rake I think about how solid it is, how much it supports and how easy it was to install. So glad purchased the Buyers Products Truck bed rack. Love it!
If all you have is a canoe then it’s the great.this product is not good for any aluminum ladders as the the metal it’s made of wears down with loading and unloading aluminum ladders.do yourself a favor and spend a little more to get a proper rack.
This is a good, lightweight, easily removed, non-permanent lumber/ladder rack.
Likes: easily mounted/removed. 4-adjustable anchor points accomodate ladders/lumber.
Dislikes: Aluminum powder-coat fairly shallow, wearing off at key contacts points.
Dislikes: Slightly too tall above the cab on my 2nd Gen Tundra
Sturdy, attractive, good value for the money. Serves my purposes of mounting a storage box and occasionally hauling a canoe at a much lower price point than the "name brand outdoor gear" racks.
I'm very happy with tis product, it's the second one I've purchased because I gave the first one to an employee for his truck. Easy to install, sturdy and does everything I need it to do for my business. Great product and I would highly recommend to anyone!

For the price these can't be beat. Very sturdy, the welding appears to be surprisingly well done. They fit on both our 2021 3500 Chevy and on our 2022 F150 due to being adjustable.

As you well know, camping with all the gear and toys you want to bring with you consumes an amazing amount of space. With our travel trailer, bringing 3 kayaks, 3 bikes and all the other equipment put space at a premium. This rack doubled our available space. Installation was a snap and the first time we put it on our truck, it took about 20 mins. Should take longer just brining it out to the truck now. The rack is well made and extremely sturdy when installed. There are cheaper units but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for"! I like having the peace of mind knowing that I will be returning with all the toys that I left with.

Great, to bad the top of the rack doesn’t sit flat,cause of its triangular shape. Other than that it’s ok.
