This low-profile rack and load extender combo makes it easy to carry gear that’s longer than your truck bed. The adjustable load extender reaches 4' from your hitch, giving you the extra length you need for canoes, kayaks, or even long lumber. Two height settings keep your cargo level with your truck bed crossbars, while the vertical configuration stores the extender up and out of the way when not in use. The 60" extender crossbar has integrated tie-down points so securing gear is simple and secure.
The rack’s 68" aluminum crossbars sit over the bed to free up space below for coolers, tools, or camping gear. Rubberized strips in the top channels cut down on wind noise and drag while protecting your cargo. Integrated tie-down points in the endcaps give you multiple ways to strap down loads. You can mount most Yakima channel-mount or clamp-on accessories—bike racks, kayak carriers, cargo boxes, or even a rooftop tent—so one setup can handle everything from workdays to weekends.
The adjustable towers clamp directly to the bed rails using quick-release levers, so there’s no drilling required. Included adapters let you mount on trucks with factory utility track systems too. Same Key System (SKS) lock cores secure the towers to your vehicle, while a separate hitch lock (sold separately) can secure the load extender itself. SKS cores can be swapped out so all your Yakima gear uses one key.
Made from aluminum with a powder coat finish, this rack resists rust and corrosion through every season. It’s rated for 300 lbs on road, 180 lbs off road, and a static load capacity of 800 lbs—strong enough to handle serious hauling jobs and rooftop setups alike. The solid build is backed by Yakima’s limited lifetime warranty, and as a fun touch, each tower includes a signature bottle opener for when the work (or adventure) is done.

Have not installed, but a friend has these. Good quality.
Great product, strong and well made.
4.5 the package boxes all came pretty damaged. Luckily everything in them was undamaged.
I've had these for over a year and absolutely love them. very good quality and fit. i would buy these again.
Well designed and works great
Etrailer got us our Yakima Rack way faster than we thought possible. Rack was in great shape!
Great set of bars. Easy to set up. Ordered on a Wednesday after dinner and they were on my door step Friday when i got home from work. That is fast. Only reason for four stars is the bar came with an allen 5mm wrench that was supposed to fit all of the bolts but the end cap on the bars were 4mm. Not a big deal to me.
Great product and great experience with vendor. Everything arrived faster than expected and in perfect condition. The product was as described and fit our truck. Very easy to install. We will be using the Bed Rack for an iKamper Mini we pick up next week.
They fit my F-150 perfectly. I didn’t have to drill or cut anything. The directions were easy to follow and only had to use two Allen keys to install.
The hidden T-Head that clamps under the bedrail is preventing the rack to be installed in the far rear of the bed of a Ram 1500 (I can’t speak for other trucks) due to divots Ram puts in the beds. Because I have to push the rear rack a little forward, it will create a tipping point for anything longer than 8’ long (Ram 1500 has a 5’5” interior bed length). The attached photographs is of a 6’ ladder, which fits perfect.
I received the racks , both packages, within two days after I ordered it. All the parts came inside the boxes with no missing parts. Appreciate how quickly it got to me! Really nice and simple purchasing process through etrailer! Will definitely get future items through them, specially the Yakima Overhaul HD rack that’s next on my list. I’ll post pictures after install.
Wasn't hard to install. Had it done in 20 minutes.
I don't normally do reviews, but I was extremely impressed with etrailer's Service. I ordered the Yakima BedrockHD for my truck on a Friday afternoon. It shipped the same Friday evening! In doing research on this rack, etrailers information was excellent and helped me confirm the bar size. Received the rack the following Wednesday, the rack was just as advertised, fit my 2020 GMC Sierra perfectly and now I can haul my Kayaks above the bed and access my tailgate. Great product, mounts to my bedrail solidly. etrailer was great, I will be using trailers in the future.
Service was Unbelievable. Fantastic , couldn’t get any better ther than someone driving a car from wentsville to my house. Thank you all, keep up the good work, I need more stuff.
Exactly what I wanted for my F450
Easy to install and adds multi use of accessories while leaving your bed open for other options. Mainly I purchased for camping, allows me to store bike racks on top of the bar while allowing me to load the bed chairs coolers and firewood etc. my truck is a 2020 Toyota tundra with the 6 1/2 foot bed and factory truck bed rail system.
Yakima products are renowned for their ease of assembly, installation, and sturdy craftsmanship. The BedRock HD does not disappoint in any of these categories.
We bought the BedRock HD Truck Bed Rack with the hope that it would make loading/hauling our kayak and SUP more user friendly when used in conjunction with the LongArm Extension. Another factor we considered when purchasing this combo was how securely the watercraft would ride for 10-12 hours of driving time. Though we have yet to make a trip of that length, both watercraft are extremely secure once loaded and strapped down. I am able to make the truck bed sway back and forth when pushing and pulling on the strapped down SUP. I’m confident both craft will be held securely for any duration we intend to drive.
Since the 2020 Toyota Tacoma with the 5 ft. bed is somewhat limited on bed space it was important for us to have a set up that would allow us to maximize our truck bed use. With the BedRock HD and LongArm combo we are able to accomplish our goal. There is 19” of clearance between the floor of the truck bed and the bottom of the HD crossbar with pad installed. Without a pad on the crossbar there is 20” of clearance. Plenty of room for our gear totes and cooler.
For those interested, I installed the forward-most crossbar/tower assemblies 17.75 inches rearward of the front outside corners of the bed. The rearward-most crossbar/tower assemblies are installed 14.25 inches forward of the rear outside corners of the bed (excluding the top of the tailgate). That gave me a center to center crossbar spread of 28”. The LongArm Extension is bolted with the tee bar at its shortest configuration, and the entire assembly is bolted one hole placement from the vertical position. [See attached photos]
