Can the Uprights on the Thule SR rack be cut down in height?

I do have adjustable height ladder rack options for a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500, the Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # TH500XTB or part # TH500XT and the Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # Y01151-59. I recommend the Yakima OverHaul HD because it has a higher weight capacity which means you can carry more and longer crossbars which means you can carry wider items. They both extend up to 30" above the truck bed rail.
The Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # TH43002XT-781 does not have any sort of height adjustment feature nor can it be trimmed. It is designed so that the crossbars sits just above the roof.
