The Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack carries up to 1,250 lbs and adjusts along the full length of the bed. The uprights slide smoothly in T-track base rails so you can set them up for long ladders, short loads, or anything in between. Quick-release knobs let you loosen, reposition, and lock the rack in seconds. When you need full bed access, the uprights slide together or can be removed completely.
Built from lightweight 6000-series aluminum, this rack is both strong and rustproof. The dual-stage powder coat gives you an added layer of protection—the first e-coat bonds tightly to the metal, and the clear top coat guards against scratches and corrosion. The wide base under each upright spreads out the load for stability without extra bracing.
The system includes four heavy-duty aluminum load stops that mount in the crossbar slots and twist-lock into position. Slide them where you need them to hold ladders, lumber, or pipes steady. Four side cleats attach to the uprights for extra tie-down options, so everything stays put while you’re on the road.
Elliptical crossbars are streamlined to cut down wind resistance and noise. Each bar has an integrated trip strip that blocks airflow through the slots, so you don’t get the whistling sound that’s common with open-channel designs. The internal web structure of the bars adds stiffness, keeping them strong without extra weight.
Installation is quick and drill-free—each base rail bolts into the stake pockets, sitting neatly on top of the bed rails. Foam pads protect the finish underneath, and the rails feature two integrated tracks for full adjustability. Once mounted, the rack stands 27-5/16" tall with 69-1/2" crossbars, ready for both jobsite work and weekend gear.

Even after a year this ladder rack is still wonderful and holding up perfectly.I will never go back to what I call a conventional ladder rack.
