Will the Thule TracRac SR Work with the BAKFlip MX4 on a 2018 Ford F-150 5-1/2 Foot Bed

I have a 2018 F150 Super Crew with 5.5ft bed and a Bak MX4 cover. I have been looking for a ladder rack that might be compatible with my cover and is strong enough to support a roof top tent, load of at least 200lbs dynamic and 800-1000lbs static. The Thule TracRac SR can handle the load but my cover has rubber that overlaps the bed rails by 1/2 inch, I am wondering if the TracRac base rail would allow the cover to open and close?

I do have some options for you but the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # TH43002XT-508 and the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover part # BAK48329 are not a good fit. The rails on the SR are rather wide so they would likely overlap with the seals on the MX4. In addition to this, you would need to move the rear rack forward in order to fold the cover up each time and with continuous use the seals on the cover will wear out.
The only tonneau cover that we know for sure works with the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack without issue is the BAK Revolver X4s Hard Tonneau Cover part # BAK39ZR which installs completely inside the bed rails and rolls up.
If you must reuse your BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover then the only ladder rack we offer that will allow for full unimpeded access is the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # A4000964 which only has a 500 lb weight capacity. The other option you have is to use a roof mounted tent like the Yakima SkyRise Tent part # Y07436 on the roof of your F-150 with the Yakima JetStream Crossbar System part # Y00426, part # Y28TR, and part # Y06122.
