Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement end cap for your TracRac ladder racks. This is going to replace a lost or broken end cap on your TracRac ladder rack. And as you see there on your screen this is going to fit the TracRac G2 the T-Rac G2 and the TracOne. Now I do wanna point out that this does not come with the set screw, so if your original screw is missing you would need to obtain one from a local hardware store. This end cap is exactly like the one that you are needing to replace.
This is directly from Thule, so you can trust that it's going to fit right in place of your original. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues or anything like that. So if you are needing to replace a lost or broken end cap on your TracRac ladder rack this is going to be exactly what you need. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. As to the replacement end caps, if you really intend to have your customers provide their own mounting hardware, you need to provide a description of the bolt. I need to know the length, diameter, head type, and # of threads per inch. Most bolts at the hardware store are pre-packaged and are not readily accessible to try into the end caps. I live 15 miles from the nearest hardware store. That's a 30 mile round trip that will cost me at least $[XX] in gas assuming my time is worthless. Those bolts cost either etrailer or Thule a fraction of a fraction of a penny each. Not including them with the end caps is beyond cheap and is really bad business.

We purchased tie down loops for our TracRac ladder rack along with some replacement parts for the rack, which all came quickly and were easy to install. Well, it was the correct part, but did not include the mounting screw (broken mounting screw was why I ordered tge replacement part).
