For your 2017 Ford F-150 with 5-1/2 foot bed, you need the TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Full Size Pickup Trucks - 1,250 lbs # TH43002XT-508 which is a confirmed fit. The Base Rails for TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Racks # TH21508 are what you need if you just want the rails and hardware.

For the entire ladder rack with the 3rd rail you want the TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Over-the-Cab Extension - 1,250 lbs # TH43002XT-508EX. This is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Ford F-150 with 5-1/2 foot bed. You'll be very happy with this installation. I've attached a video of this installation on older model vehicles just to give you installation viewing. If you want to consider a tonneau cover, we have the BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover - Roll Up - Aluminum and Vinyl # BAK39329 which is the only system that is an absolute confirmed fit at this time with that ladder rack. Many customers ask, so I thought that info may be helpful to you for future reference. This fit is ideal due to the internal rails and rolling design both of which work with the base rails in the stake pockets because there is no interference and the hard rolling cover doesn't come in contact with the tapered supports of the ladder rack.
