Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here @etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the replacement part for your base rail track rack ladder rack. So this is going to be what goes into the stake pocket of your truck. And then the bolt goes through, attaches it into that plate nut to tighten it down and give you that good secure fit in the stake pocket without damaging your truck. So, something happened to this. Maybe it got lost or damaged or just fell down and went into the ether somewhere.
This is going to be a direct replacement from the manufacturer. So you make sure that you can get rolling again with your install. So let's take a closer look. It is just going to be a rubber block. It's a nice sturdy or firm rubber.
So it provides a little bit of give, but not so much that it's going to, again, damage that stake pocket. So if you ever take your ladder rack off, you shouldn't have to worry about anything being bowed or bent out of place. So the small hole is the top. That's where your bolt is going to drop through. You have open sides there, so you can kind of see what's happening.
Not that you really will see what's happening cause it's going to be inside that stake pocket. But anyway, give you some measurements. Width is right under two inches. I'd say about one and 15/16. And then about two and 3/16 by about one and 3/16.
We want to get really technical on those measurements. That's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the replacement rubber block for your base rail installation of your track rack sliding ladder rack. I hope that this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right replacement part for you. We do have a lot of other replacement parts [email protected]. And all kinds of stuff for your trucks, SUVs, RVs, boats and more, [email protected]. So be sure to check them out. Thanks for watching..

Replaces 1 rubber expansion block for installation of TracRac base rails. Fits in stake bed pocket to attach rails to truck bed.The rubber block split in half in less than a year
I remounted a tracrac and these replacement blocks worked great.
seemed to have gone well installing pocket stake rubbers, bolts and used rack. cinsidering i had to cut rails from 8 ft to 6.5 and deal with fused nuts and bolts. it istalled in under an hour. no complaints besides it raining on me.
also bought the rack knobs. all are nice and work well
Everything was perfect once it arrived, shipping took three more buisness days (4 total) more than what was estimated. Other than the slow shipping (USPS) everything was as advertised and worked well
I got it. Thanks
Excellent customer service and follow up
Worked perfectly for reinstalling base rails of a 2000 era TracRac.
Perfect product
Great fit
Shipping was quick
Bought this as a backup after removing the rack and seeing some of the original blocks deformed. They look well made but I can’t tell you how well they work as I haven’t reinstalled the trac rack. Ty
Part is as described, timely shipping
We had a set of truck racks that we purchased years ago thru Trac-Rack that worked perfectly for us. Last year our truck was involved in an accident and totaled but the racks weren't damaged at all. We needed to replace our truck and wanted to use the same racks but we needed to purchase the rubber block for the base rail. We have been satisfied and continue using the truck racks daily.
This item seems overly expensive (what doesn’t these days?). Nonetheless, I needed four new ones because I got a new tonneau and needed to remove my TracRac (Thule) ladder rack rails for compatibility analysis.
The new rail pocket blocks worked great and the new Retrax One MX tonneau and old ladder rack are beautifully compatible on my 2015 F-150. Thanks!
Not as substantial as my factory original blocks (my TracRac SR is older...prior to thule's acquisition of TracRac), but they work
TIP: In cold areas, keep these things inside till you are ready to go out and install them. Even warm them up in warm water first, and keep them in your pocket till you are ready to drop them in. This design doesn't expand as easily as the old style, but a little heat helps big time.
a good fit in my stake pockets. made a firm connection of the rack to the truck when torqued correctly.
these replacements are Not as beefy or as pliable as original equipment.
I haven't installed them yet; I hope they will "lock" the tracks in place and not fail when the rack is under load on roadway conditions.
The place where I had purchased my Trak Rack has closed and there are no places close enough or with a good enough rating to have them install the system on my new truck. I ordered the necessary parts from you and after a very short time on the phone we were all set. The package came, everything was there and i couldn't be happier.
Thank you very much.
Thule needs to revisit the engineering on these Rubber Blocks. the blocks that came with my rack didn't last one removal. Hopefully I can retire th metal "net" from the Ford's stake wells. If it issuing to cost me $xxx USD each time I remove the rack I could not recommend the Thule racks to others,
I needed these in order to put my TracRac ladder racks onto my new truck. They worked perfectly. Price was very reasonable and shipping was fast. Thanks!!
Great product! Tightened up after the initial break-in and it’s been doing what it’s supposed to do and keeping the rack/cover and bed rail in place with no issues.
I was VERY SATISFIED with my experience with etrailer.com, The staff was extremely helpful and handled my order quickly and accurately. I definitely recommend them!
This is a cheap piece of hard rubber necessary for installing the rails. If you need to remove the rails for any reason, the old block base is too deformed to use again. $XX+ for four replacements is terrible.
grateful i can find small replacement parts for this truck rack. Items were delivered ultra-quickly and were as ordered. I'll use etrailer as a proven vendor for my needs.
Quite pricey for a piece of rubber, but it does what it's suppose to do. Have bought many items from etrailer and there customer service has always been excellent!!
Well. Here’s what I think. The parts came quickly and worked well. So I’ll give a 5 star with that. Its the face that they charge XX+ dollars for EACH little rubber plug is Robbery.
So they get a 1 star for that.
