Ladder Rack and Tonneau Cover Recommendation for 2018 Ford F-150 5-1/2 ft Bed

Got 2018 F-150 Platinum with short bed and looking to add tonneau cover but want one that works with ladder rack on occasional basis want to remove ladder rack most of the time but be able to quickly install when needed. 1 is the TH43002XT-508 plus the BAK Industries 79329 Revolver X4 Hard Rolling Truck Bed Cover the best choice for my needs? 2 what holds the Thule TracRac SR to the trucks bedrails? Is it just the compression of the rubber blocks that get placed into the stake holes? 3 my bed rail covers dont have openings on bed rails close to the cab I hear that there might be stake hole bracketed underneath the bed rail cover. It doesnt look to be the same or as deep as typical stake holes. Is this reasonable attachment point? Im comfortable with cutting thru bed rail covers, but dont want to do so if the underlying stake hole is not sturdy or constructed to same dimensions as full stake holes that the Thule TracRac SR rubber blocks need to grip onto.

You are on the right track. The only way to fit a tonneau cover and ladder rack in a truck like your 2018 Ford F-150 5-1/2 foot bed will be a Sliding Thule TracRac # TH43002XT-508 plus a BAK Revolver part # BAK39ZR.
I attached a picture that I took from the install instructions that shows how the rails attach to the stake pockets for you to check out.

I have a 2018 Ford F-150 Super Crew 5’6” bed with a Dual Liner bed liner and a Retrax Pro Tonneau cover. Is the Thule TracRac SR compatible with these systems?
