This hitch is built for heavy use with a 2" x 2" receiver opening and Class IV rating. It’s ready for towing up to 10,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 1,000 lbs tongue weight. When used with weight distribution, it handles up to 12,000 lbs GTW and 1,200 lbs tongue weight. The precision, robotic welding gives it maximum strength and a tight fit, so you can count on it whether you’re towing a camper, boat, or utility trailer.
The matte black powder coat over a protective base layer keeps rust and corrosion in check while giving the hitch a rugged look. It’s not just tough—it hides dirt, scuffs, and dings better than glossy finishes. That means your hitch stays looking sharp even after miles of road spray and trail dust.

You don’t need a lift or welding tools to install this one. The hitch bolts straight onto the frame using existing holes, and everything you need comes in the box—hardware kit and installation instructions included. It’s built to line up right where it should for a clean install that saves time and frustration.
This custom-fit hitch adds real versatility. Use it to pull a trailer one weekend and mount a bike rack or cargo carrier the next. The sturdy square-tube design keeps it all steady and secure no matter what you’re hauling.

What I suspect happened is that the side brackets were knocked out of alignment. The fastest way to correct it is to bend it back into shape. We have a FAQ that can help with it. As long as it is not more than one inch off this this is what we recommend.

Typically, the hardware and install instructions are bagged up and stuffed in the receiver opening (which sometimes makes it very easy to miss). If they are not there, please let me know and we'll get replacement hardware sent right out! Either way, we'll reach out to make sure you have what you need to install your trailer hitch.

I did speak with our in house engineer, and another hitch manufacturer for verification and the torque specs are based on federal standards. The hitch hardware should only be torque to the specifications, and not beyond because it can be over torqued and can break or damage the hardware if it is over torqued.
