Video Transcript for DeadBolt Hitch Locks 40107 Review

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at a trailer hitch receiver lock. This receiver lock is going to do a great job at securing hitch mount accessories inside your 2"x2" trailer hitch. It's really going to help prevent theft of those accessories because it actually locks them to the hitch, it keeps them from being removed. The unit itself is a really nice design. It's going to featured this covered key slot, so that's going to prevent corrosion to the lock core. That keeps out dirt, grime and moisture.

The stainless steel construction is very strong and durable and it's designed to resist rust and corrosion. On this end right here it has an all-weather grip for improved handling in all environments. The product is made in the USA. It features a patented pick-proof screw and lock security system that's going to come with two keys. You place the key in there and then you start turning the key counterclockwise until the lock disengages from the pin.At this point, you would take this through the hitch. Make sure it goes through the pinholes of the accessory, out the other side of your hitch, place on the lock housing, and then turn it clockwise to get it tightened all the way down.

You'll know that's fully tightened when you can't turn the key anymore. Remove the keys, place on the dust cap, and that's all there is to it.Multiple locks are available and they can all be keyed alike. That option is available at etrailer.com on this product's page. The flush design fits a 2"x2" trailer hitch receiver. Overall length of the unit measuring edge to edge, it's about 5-3/4".

The pin diameter is 5/8". Then the usable space measuring from this point here to this point here is 2-9/16".That's going to do it for today's look at the trailer hitch receiver lock.

It is rare when I take the time to write a review. But this is well deserved. I am extremely happy with my whole experience with etrailer.com I am a novice regarding utility trailers, towing, hitches, etc. But from the moment I landed in your website it was so easy for me to identify all the information I needed to make an informed decision. I always told my friends I do not understand why business waste time adding pictures of their products with useless description when a video tells a better story. And, etrailer.com presents their products so professionally and a level that a novice can understand. So I went ahead and order my products. They arrived and I was so busy with my kids life, after school swimming, grandparents, activities, etc. that I did not have time to open my package for almost 2 months. And in a way I did not open it because I felt so confident from my ordering experience that all was going to be ok. Well finally I got ready to test my purchased products and I found out that the keys to my ball mount was missing. A few days later I took the time to write etrailer.com customer service and explained exactly what had happened. They were prompt to reply and not only that they shipped to me a new receiver lock which I just tested and all is working properly. I am so, so, happy with my entire purchase experience. Your team has been so attentive from beginning to end. I highly recommend anyone to purchase with confidence from etrailer.com I will highly recommend you to all. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with my experience and my high quality items. I wish you all great success and continue the good work. I will order in the future from you as I need new items. Thank you so much Marco. 375770

1) Note that after using key to install end as far on shaft possible, is is necessary to rotate key CCW a quarter turn to extract the key. This is different than a chrome-plated product made by the same company. 2) This unit was marginally longer in length, particularly through the portion that goes through the trailer hitch, compared to be chrome-plated version made by the same company. It does not affect function. A stack up of process variety on the hitch and this lock may make a difference on your vehicle. 3) SS version does not have same finish compared to chrome. However, I like because I assume it is more durable. I was surprised to see how easy it was to take a grinder and cut the chrome plated version in two. 4) Please record your key number in case you need to order replacements. 204382

Continues to function reliably. I keep unit out of weather when not in use. Had reason to tow a trailer loaded to the max for towing capacity on my vehicle. Towed 1,000 miles and looked for evidence of scoring due to the mechanical gaps and pressure exerted during stops and starts. No scoring observed.

I was dumbfounded that there would be so many different locks, user problems, and reviews that brought up many issues with trailer locks that I hadn't thot about. I just wanted to order a hitch lock for a standard 2" tube hitch receiver - for an occasional bike rack and otherwise USMC hitch cover. Also I didn't have the SUV available when I ordered so no way to measure or solve the issues about length, rattle, fit, etc. So, I decided to order the 2" stainless steel (flush) 5/8" diameter hitch receiver lock 40107 and give it a try....possibly to figure out what I should have ordered in the first place. Well, it works great, first try - right dia, and length - as I needed to have a little room to get my hands between bumper & recessed opening "cut out" for the trailer hitch (BMW X5). Any longer would have been difficult to handle the keys in the lock. Very little play, no rattles, and only heard rattle once when going over speed bump too fast/landed too hard. (oops - good thing that was in hubby's car!) Felt a little foolish about watching the simple video of how to operate the lock when I ordered it, but was glad I did. Not intuitive to turn key 1/4 and then turn the other end until screwed off, or just keep turning the key until the end falls off. Feels like its stripped and nothing is happening, but alas, it works as promised. Very substantial lock, solid feel, stays put. I like it much better than the "too skinny" old Thule bike lock that I had been using that rattles and slides around in the receiver tube. 224803

Overall heavy duty build. and an unexpected improvement which hasn't yet appeared in the product description on the website: now there's no spring loaded button to fail. Instead the lock screws into place (rather than push in place) before engaging. It appears to be solid stainless steel, rather than chrome plated. Another great feature, you can get more than one of these locking pins keyed the same. And, best of all, it's made in Michigan, not in China! In this case, sometimes you get what you pay for. 79991

Works fine after a year. No sign of corrosion either worth the extra cost for stainless steel.

Looks great! Fits perfect. Operates and functions as reported. It will secure my ball mount for sure. I have it mounted on a DrawTite Class III #75238 which is attached to my new 2017 Tacoma. Thank you ETrailer.com.....you are awesome! 378042

Worked perfectly and love the fact that these can be ordered as keyed alike. Being stainless steel, they should last the lifetime of the truck. As you can see in the pictures, I have a class III receiver hitch welded to the Iron Bull brand front and the rear bumpers and employ your receiver locks to secure my front license plate and the chrome and black Colorado cap in the rear when I am not using the hitch to pull my bass boat. 148535

I called in to etrailer.com looking for five like keyed hitch receiver locks. To be completely honest I really didn't think there would be such a thing. To my surprise the rep told me they had what I needed. I have used barrel style locks from both Reese and Masterlock previously. They worked OK until recently. This lock is a step above those for security reasons. The key and the removable locking portion of this lock actually unscrews to remove and screws back in to secure the lock when you turn the key rather then just a pop off like the Reese and Masterlock when you turn the key. The reason I am buying a new lock is my other lock fell off while trailing because it must not have been locked securely. I am pleasantly surprised that this screw on/off feature is going to now provide me with 100% peace of mind when I secure my trailer. Couple that with the fact that i now have all five of my vehicles/hitches secured with the same key and I am a happy camper. Buy with confidence. 313791

After a year of using these screw on locks I’m in love. I wish I would have order 3-4 more. I guess I need to call and see if I can still add more similarly keyed locks to my set.

I like the screw in bolt idea of this lock, seems very secure, I put some anti-seize on the inside to see if it helps with any possible rust in the future, plus its SS! 218456

Comments

Absolutely, without a doubt, the best keyed hitch pin. Ive used other products for years and they have all rusted and the ball bearing to keep them locked would seize. No locking ball bearing to worry about with this one, just use the key to unbolt the end, simple and easy, also has been rust-free and trouble-free for a year!

Fit great on my 2011 Avalanche. bought a cheap chrome plated one prior and had to take a hammer to it in order to get the key in (bent it) then wrestle with it to get it off and I remove and oiled/greased it regularly. Two things to note: 1. Not a bad thing but be aware in the notes it says "screw-and-lock security" what this means is you will need to turn the key multiple times as what you are doing is turning a screw which screws into the pin. This is not a half turn lock unlock type of lock. 2. When I did a close inspection I noticed one weak point. There is no type of rubber seal or O ring to seal out moisture and dirt/dust from the threaded pin and the screw in the locking section. Simple fix. I made my own rubber washer by taking an old bike tire tube and cut it to the diameter of the Lock section then cut a small hole in the middle. Grease it up then slid it over the screw and problem solved now I have a seal between the two. 187460

I've used this type receiver lock on my rig for 8yrs, pulling my tow car from east to west coast many times. We full time RV and knowing my investment is secure gives me peace of mind. After 8yrs of towing, our old receiver lock shaft has worn slightly causing some excess movement in our tow. Now that the new lock is in place we no longer feel the tow car behind us. 121430

This appears to be well made, but I haven't put it through a full season of towing yet. Nice stainless finish, good fit (not a lot "slop"), and using the key to screw/unscrew the lock is smooth and intuitive. As another reviewer said, if you turn the key to tighten the lock fully, you have to back it off a little bit to remove the key. I'm giving it 4 stars for 1 small reason - the "screw" itself inside the lock is fairly small. A larger screw would be less likely to stretch/break under an attempt to break the lock. As with most security products, they are "keep honest people honest" measures. If someone has time, motivation, and the right tools...they'll break through your measures. Use good quality stuff...and layer your measures to make your trailer less attractive to steal. This is good quality stuff. 491829

Lock works perfectly! Good design. Let's hope the "weather proof" cap stands the test of time.....though I won't leave it on all the time. 93899

Its been a year and the lock is holding up really well. I dont leave it on all the time but it has been through some bad weather and works as easily as if its right out of the box.

This product is outstanding; after I purchased my first a week or so ago as a test solution, I have purchased two additional , total three. Being made in the USA is important to me, PLUS the design and manufacturing is superior. The attached picture on my pal Benji [who is 16] is guarding the place, the other picture is one of my uses for the hitch lock, although not for a hitch. A very clever design. 348714

great lock that fits my 2003 4Runner (which does not fit a conventional angled lock with cotter pin). it fits really well and there is little to no play between the lock's shaft and the hitch's lock hole, meaning hopefully there will be no rattle. it is just barely wider than the hitch, so again, little to no play. the lock uses a key and thread system, so you turn the key a number of revolutions, as you are unthreading a screw, rather than unlocking a conventional lock. nice rubber cover for the lock to avoid grime. 217253

I have a new trailer with an Anderson hitch, and I bought this locking pin for peace of mind as the factory provided pin can be removed in seconds by a prankster. I looked at the ones offered by Amazon sellers, and they appeared to be lower quality compared to item #40107 from etrailer.com. I tried it out today with the hitch installed. It works fine, and the quality appears to be excellent. Here's what may be a helpful tip. Instead of turning the key round and round to lock/unlock, I held the key and turned the non-locking side of the pin. That seemed to work very well. Since we're talking about the security of your hitch and trailer, this is like buying tires. Forget the junk and buy quality. 468655

First of all, the products you find at etrailer are not your garden variety, home depot kind of fair. Much higher quality and grade/weight ratings. So to be able to get hard to find items and then by orderring at least 100$ worth of stuff also get it delivered free in 4 days, is awesome. The prices are incredible too. These are not sold in my area at any price. 377591

Thank you for asking for my one year appraisal of your product. The lock is still guarding my hitch, so I got the key and attempted to remove it. It unlocked, then re-locked smoothly on the first try. I was extremely pleased as I had to have the "Master Lock" I had previously purchased from Amazon cut off after only being on 3 summer months. Yours is a great product. A good idea is to use an anti-seize compound when installing. The link below goes to my review of the "Master lock" on Amazon. Thanks again for asking. [xxxx] 309886

I bought four of these locks, keyed alike, to secure trailers on two vehicles. They replace Chinese made locks, one of which failed in the locked position. Luckily, the lock mechanism was weak enough that I was able to beat it off with a hammer. The absence of a pushbutton that is prone to sticking, the positive screw-in lock mechanism which also prevents picking, corrosion resistant construction, and the USA manufacturing origin are all positive features, in my opinion. Time will tell, but I have confidence in this product. 394470

I've had my hitch lock for a little over a year now, and I could not be more happy with it. It has been off and on for a number of times and I've never had a problem. It this thing ever wears out I will buy a new one, but I don't think that will happen for quite a while. This trailer lock is absolutely excellent, I could not be for satisfied. Thanks for making such a quality lock at a fair price. If this thing ever wears out I will buy another one just like it, but I think I will wear out before the hitch lock does. 419372

Folks, this is a must-get. You spent several hundred dollars on a tow bar - spend $24 more to make sure it doesn't disappear when you're away from the RV. Without this lock, all someone would have to do is pull the clip, pull the pin and your schedule and budget are ruined. Even if it was just mischievous kids that only took your pin out, you would have to waste time locating a replacement, and if you didn't notice it was gone - maybe a bad wreck! It's stainless steel, high quality construction and CHEAP for what it does. 211059

Prior to purchasing my DeadBolt hitch lock, I purchased a Reese hitch lock from my local hardware store. The quality of the Reese hitch lock and it's locking mechanism don't even come close to that of the DeadBolt. Even the cap of the DeadBolt which seals around a raised lip on the lock is far superior than the simple fold over cap on the Reese. The materials used on the DeadBolt are solid and my first impression of the quality is top notch. Time will tell if the quality is truly there but I have no doubt that it is. 389947

Good, heavy duty, stainless steel used to make this part. Has a tight fitting cover to keep debris out of lock. I did, however, put graphite lock ease in the mechanism before installing. I am an etrailer repeat customer because every time I search for something to do with my truck, etrailer always has everything that I need an at very competitive prices. Probably the best feature is how quick items arrive. I always use the economy shipping and things still get here in a hurry 130743

Lock arrived in a couple of days. It fit perfectly. Operation is simple. Unusual, but easy and effective to use. I'm very happy with it. We just purchased an after market trailer hitch from etrailer and realized we needed a locking mechanism to prevent theft of our bicycles. We travel to a lot of triathlons and frequently leave the car unattended. Without a lock, someone could take the bikes by taking the entire bike rack. This was an unexpected find on their website site. 271432

Great customer service and prompt delivery of my order. However, the long term wear off the product is suspect due to rust allowing after less than a year of use. I paid a little bit more for this product in hopes that the stainless steel would help prolong the rust. 281393

by:

New product for me as I did not have a lock for my hitch prior to this purchase. The quality of construction is high and the lock cap is nice and secure. The locking mechanism is a bit different from standard lock mechanisms in that you hold the key and spin the bolt to secure. A little fussy when bending over the hitch but no a major problem. We shall see how easy it is to use in our northeast winter. 317373

This lock allows for safety and security and gives rest of mind,it is not like you being somewhere and your trailer is far from you and you are bothered about whether it is secured or not. With this lock you can go to sleep with your two eyes closed and another added advantage about this lock is that it is stainless steel which means that this lock will continue to serve for a long period of time. 232966

I bought the Deadbolt Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock - Stainless Steel Flush Design for 2" - Etrailer code 40107 It seems to be a quality designed product, I read other reviews and decided to go with the screw on design which I understand to be more secure. Over a year ago I purchased these hitch locks and I was impressed then and am again impressed being able to add two additional hitch locks all using the same key. I no longer have to fumble looking for the right key because they are all using the same key. Needless to say, my key ring is much smaller requiring only one key. Thanks etrailer for the service and support that I have received. 481705

Product arrived in a few days, just as expected. Both locks came keyed alike as ordered, and function very well. Would order this lock again if needed. Stainless steel was a plus. The thing that really made me order this lock, was the fact it was made in the U.S.A.. I'm tired of looking at product tags and seeing everything made in another country!! American made as much as possible!!!! 248810

Works great! Simple but effective design. Very well built as the rubber cap on others I have owned had gotten brittle and fell off but this one is just as good as it was when new. I got a matching set of keyed locks as I have 2 vehicles I tow with. This is a great convenience instead of searching for multiple keys. I would definitely buy from both etrailer and this company again. 415248

Top quality, none better on the market. You may buy another from others, the steel rust over one winter, replace it in two years , or you can go for the higher price, it does not rust, you keep it forever. Your choice , cheap or expensive, replace in two years, or keep forever. That's the deal. Personally I would rather pay $34 instead of $15, and the higher last forever. 478716

Best hitch lock I've had yet. Bought two of these, one for rear and one for front hitch. They're on 24/7, locking in accessories I keep on the hitches. Rain, dirt, snow, they're still sturdy, no rust, and lock solid. The twisting lock mechanism on these is a great idea, very solid feel as it locks on. Glad I bought these... and I've tried lots of others. 444007

Used on 2018 Ford F-150. The pin looks solid, fits perfectly and well made. The main reason I bought it was to replace one that rusted in less than a year, and looked terrible. I bought this one as it is stainless steel, had a place to grip it and is locking. Time will tell whether this holds up to the Northeast weather. 523190

Customer service was exceptional. I had a special keying request and did not know if I could order. Michelle (etrailer customer service) provided the procedure and placed my order. Shipment was received three days prior to estimated delivery. Special keying was exactly what I requested. Thank you for your assistance. 338755

Wanted trailer hitch locks that were keyed the same but had a problem that I did not order them that way on the original order. Called to let them know and ask what could be done and before I could hang up the phone new locks...."keyed alike"... were on their way. Great company with GREAT customer service!! 357173

Ask the Experts about this DeadBolt Hitch Locks
Do you have a question about this Hitch Lock?

  • What Hitch Locks Are Good For Resisting Rust And Corrosion
  • Yes, you are correct the best hitch lock to prevent rust and corrosion is the stainless steel lock. The stainless steel locks will not corrode. The Deadbolt Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock - Stainless Steel Flush Design, # 40107, is one of our top sellers. The price difference is only a few dollars from the chrome to the stainless steel so it is definitely the better buy. The other choice for a stainless steel lock is the Master Lock Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock, # 1480DAT, it is also...

  • Will An Aftermarket Hitch on a 2018 Subaru Forester Increase Towing Capacity Limits?
  • Aftermarket trailer hitches like the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75876 are not able to increase the towing capacity of your 2018 Subaru Forester. They are rated for higher capacity simply because they are tested independently of the vehicle. This ensures your hitch is not the weakest part of your system and will be able to tow the max capacity of your vehicle without issue. You should not tow anything beyond the manufacturer listed towing...

  • Comparing Curt 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver to Draw-Tite 2 Inch Receiver for 2018 VW Atlas
  • For your 2018 VW Atlas, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13366 will be about 1-1/2 inches recessed behind your bumper and will drop 8.44 inches from the mount to the bottom of the receiver tube according to my tech contact at Curt. The Draw-Tite # 76176 will have the receiver tube extend about 6-1/2 inches from the rear mounting hole and will drop 8.8 inches from the mount to the bottom of the receiver tube according to my tech contract at Draw-Tite. For your trailer wiring, I...

  • Best Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2016 Subaru Forester
  • The best hitch for your 2016 Forester will depend on what you're planning on using the hitch for. If you're only needing the hitch to serve as an attachment point for the Yakima # Y02457 Ridgeback bike rack, a Class II hitch like the Draw-Tite # 36523 would be an excellent choice. However, if you might also use the hitch as an attachment point for other accessories like a large cargo carrier such as the Curt # C18153 or if you might do some light duty towing, a Class III hitch like the...

  • Differences Between Available Class III Hitches for 2011 Toyota Sienna
  • The Hidden Hitch and Draw-Tite model hitches you referenced would be identical, since Hidden Hitch and Draw-Tite are sister companies. Both hitches are identical in looks, share the same capacity and would install in the same manner. The Curt # C13105 has a straight cross tube that bends slightly at each end, while the Hidden Hitch and Draw-Tite Hitches have a cross tube that angles rearward from the receiver opening, with no bend. I have provided side by side photos showing the # 87698...

  • How to Determine the Hitch Size for Hitch locks
  • To determine the size of the receiver lock you will need you need to determine the size (see link below) of the receiver on your vehicle and you also need to measure the overall width of the outside of the receiver at the hitch pin hole. If you have a class I or class II receiver you will need a 1-1/4 inch receiver lock and if you have a class III receiver or larger you will need a 2 inch receiver, then you need to make sure the inside width of the receiver lock is at least as wide as the...

  • Rust Proof Ball Mount and Hitch Ball Setup Recommendation
  • First thing you will need to do is determine how much rise/drop you would need from a ball mount to tow your trailer level. For that you will want to check out the help article that I attached that details how to do this. Once you figure out what you would need I attached a page that has all of the aluminum ball mounts we carry. You would want to select the amount of drop you would need from the filters and all of the correct ball mounts will be listed. You would want to use a stainless...

  • Recommended Hitch-Mounted Motorcycle Carrier For New Honda Ruckus
  • The hitch mounted carrier I recommend for your Honda Ruckus is the Rage PowerSport Steel Motorcycle Carrier, part # MX600. In my research I found the Ruckus weighs about 195 lbs and has a wheelbase right at 50 inches. The rear wheel measures just over 5 inches on the Ruckus. The # MX600 will hold a motorcycle that weighs up to 600 lbs. The track on this carrier is 5-1/2 inches wide and 74-3/4 inches long. It also features a ramp that is 60 inches long. For added security I recommend...

This base plate system should be installed using Loctite Threadlocker # LT37420. For your tow bar I recommend the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676. This has the safety cables, and a wiring connector integrated into the tow bar system. The LED's give you more visibility when towing your Jeep. For a more economical tow bar...

  • I was able to confirm with the manufacturer that the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13200 is a fit for your 2018 Toyota Highlander XLE. For your trailer wiring, if you don't have the OEM 4-way, you need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56217. • Using a Hitch Extender with a Bike Rack
  • This item comes as pictured. You will need a hitch pin and clip or a hitch pin receiver lock to secure the extender. If you want safety and security you will need a receiver lock on both the extender and the bike rack. You may also want to purchase a security cable to secure your bikes to the rack. This cable would run through the frames of the bikes and around the hitch or through the safety cable attachment on the hitch to secure the bikes to the vehicle. Below I have posted links to...

  • Draw-Tite #75673 has 7 inch distance between the receiver hitch pin hole and the furthest rearward portion of the rear bumper when installed on a 2011 model Subaru Outback Wagon. Although the hitch will attach to the vehicle using existing holes in the frame, a 1-1/8 inch hole saw will be needed to drill an access hole in the frame member on both the driver and passenger side. This hole is necessary in order to feed installation hardware into the frame as shown in the install instructions...

  • Recommended Hitch and Towing Accessories for 2012 Honda Odyssey
  • Due to the larger selection of available hitch mounted accessories like ball mounts, bike racks and cargo carriers, we always recommend choosing the Class III 2 inch receiver over the 1-1/4 inch Class II receiver whenever the choice is available. Because of this, I would recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Receiver, part # 75270. To complete your towing system, you will also need: Tow Ready Trailer Wiring Harness, part # 118521 Ball Mount, part # 2753 1-7/8 inch Trailer Ball, part...

  • Choosing Between Curt Class III and Draw-Tite Class III Trailer Hitches for 2013 Subaru Forester
  • Other than the fact that the Curt # 13147 has a slightly higher (500 lb) towing capacity and the fact that the hitch crossbar is round instead of square tubing, there's not a whole lot of difference functionally between the hitches you mentioned. Since the Forester is limited to towing 2400 lbs, you won't be able to use all the hitch capacity anyway because you'll be limited to the towing capacity of the vehicle. The Curt hitch is less expensive, but it has one drawback. Curt's warranty...

  • Using the Thule T2 TH9045 on a 2 Inch Receiver
  • The Thule T2 you mention, part # TH9045 is compatible with the 1-1/4 inch receiver only. Thule does not offer an adapter that is compatible with the T2, like with other of their racks. In order to use the T2 on a 2 inch receiver, a Hitch Reducer sleeve, like part # HTO2 would be your best option. • Recommended Hitch and Towing Accessories for 2013 Subaru Outback
  • The Draw-Tite # 75673 hitch has a higher towing capacity than the Curt # 13390, but because the vehicle itself is limited to 2700 lbs towing/200 lbs tongue weight, the higher hitch capacity would not be usable. The Curt hitch is less expensive, but has fewer attachment points to the vehicle (total of 4 versus 6 for the Draw-Tite). Because I prefer more attachment points to the vehicle, I would lean toward the Draw-Tite # 75673. Quality-wise, the hitches are comparable. To complete...

  • Attaching License Plate to Cargo Carrier
  • The legalities regarding a cargo carrier obscuring a rear license plate can vary widely by state. Your best bet would be to directly contact the State Police or Department of Transportation in the states in which you will be traveling. The Pilot 20x45 Cargo Carrier, part # CR-114N does not provide a dedicated place to attach a license plate. • Recommended Class III Hitch for Carrying Bike Rack on 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon
  • When you're planning on using a hitch for a bike rack, and you're trying to determine if the two will be compatible, the important measurement is the distance between the hitch pin hole and the furthest rearward part of the bumper. The FAQ article I've linked shows how to take this measurement. I checked out the 1UP USA racks, and saw that they're all compatible with the 2 inch receiver provided by a Class III hitch, so that's what I'm recommending you go with. The 2 inch receiver has...

For this hitch I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 5" Drop, 5-1/2" Rise - 10K - Black # BWTS10037B. • Recommendation For Pulling 2018 R-Pod 179 With 2018 Toyota Tundra

If this does not give you the control you need then I would add a Draw-Tite Pro Series Friction Sway Control Kit, Item # 83660. • Trailer Hitch Recommendations for 2000 Toyota Sienna

Having the more common Class III will allow you more flexibility in choosing hitch mounted accessories like bike racks or cargo carriers.
