Availability of CCP Hitch Lock Key

Question:

I have a CCP hitch lock. The number on the key is 120. Can you provide me with another key?

Hi Jay; I'm sorry to say those CCP keys are no longer available. If you have completely lost the keys the only solution is a new lock like the # e98882. CCP covered a variety of Reese, Draw-Tite, and Hidden Hitch branded locks so if you need a different lock style let me know in the comments below.

I’m thanks so much for taking the time to reply. One of the keys actually broke in the lock, but I was able to recover the piece and the remaining key still works. I’m just a little concerned only having one key in case it breaks or I lose it while the rack is on the hitch as I will then have a bigger problem.

@JayE since you still have a key take it somewhere like Ace Hardware and have them make a copy so you don't run into that problem.

Good morning Robin. I have gone to several key places, and no one seems to have the blank. Do you have id# for the blank for this key?? That would be great.

@JayE I do not. Who makes it? Reese/Draw-Tite are for sale right now, I haven't been able to get ahold of them reliably for years, but you could try calling to see if they have that information archived based on the lock.
