Question:
Hi - I’m glad I found you! I have a 2022 Toyota Highlander without a hitch and a Thule bike rack not sure of model with a 1.25” stem. What hitch kit would you recommend?

We're glad you found us too, William!
I see you've ordered the Curt Hitch # C45CR for your 2022 Toyota Highlander along with the Adapter # e58YR and Anti-Rattle # e99007 - these will work great for your setup! Just note that you'll need an additional hitch pin for the adapter, so if you don't have one, I recommend picking up the etrailer Coupler Lock # e98882 so everything is locked as well.
Just wanted to note one thing; Thule doesn't like it when non-Thule adapters are used for their bike racks so if you ever contact them for a warranty claim they might get out of it on that technicality. As long as you aren't going off-road and abusing the bike rack then you'll be just fine, but I wanted to at least make you aware.
I can check and see if there are any direct 2" adapters for your bike rack, but I'll need you to shoot some photos over to be at [email protected] since you aren't sure of the model.
Let me know what you're thinking, either way!

Hi Jon G, I received my order and the hitch is now attached. This was my first time ordering from etrailer and I'm quite impressed with the breadth of products offered and the focus on customer service. Unfortunately, my experience was tarnished when I became aware that the adapter does not come with a hitch pin. Unfortunately this was after I received my shipment. I was more disappointed since I specifically asked the sales rep if I had everything I needed to attach the adapter and connect my bike rack and was told I did. When I went back and looked at the adapter page online I don't see any mention that a hitch pin is not included. I would suggest you make that clear so that future customers are aware. Best Regards, William L
