Now, this is going to replace the four and a half inch long pin that comes standard with your Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device. And on your screen, for your reference, I do have our item number for that hitch lock and anti-rattle device that this is going to fit from Thule. And, as you know, this installs with the lock washer, washer, and the hitch lock housing, and the hitch tool.
And of course, all that is sold separately. And this pin is exactly like the one that you are needing to replace. This is the direct replacement from Thule. Well, I was told this would work on my SportRack Crest 2 Locking bike rack. The original hitch pin worked on our Escape with a 1 1/4" hitch receiver, but was too short on our Tacoma heavy duty 2" receiver. So I purchased the longer hitch pin. It has stripped out the threads inside the rack and possibly damaged the threads on the pin. So, this doesn't work.

An expensive hitch bolt which happens to be identical to the one it replaces, which happens to be a hitch bolt for a classic Thule T2, worth it? YES!! Of course, etrailer has always been my primary source for parts for my old bike rack. Thanks etrailer for all my Thule bike rack needs!!
Although the info on this product did not mentione specific compatability to Thule T-2 bike rack, it appears to be the correct item. Otherwise, I appreciate the flow of status on my recieving the requested item.
My Thule hitch bike rack had a "lock pin" that sure looked like a bolt to me that was stripped, the rack was wobbly. I searched duck duck go for "Thule Hitch Locking Pin" since instructions gave no dimensions, didn't call it a bolt. Most results were for the entire thing (pin/bolt, lock, key, washers) for $70 but all I wanted was the pin/bolt. Found on etrailer. Arrived quickly, fits great, no more wobbly rack. 100% happy with etrailer.com!!

I know that Tacomas can be a problematic when it comes to the OEM two-inch receivers as the receiver tends to be thicker than other two-inch hitches. We have had this question below and had recommended a different bolt, part # HRHPN-13, where we felt the threads would be the same and be a little longer at the same time. The only thing is that since it is a different manufacturer, I cannot guarantee that it will work 100 percent. The bolt that was ordered is the replacement for the Thule Snug Tite hitch lock and anti-rattle device part # THSTL2.
