Question:
Hi, I have the Thule 971XT Helium bike rack, and the long bolt that connects the knob/ tightener snapped on my rack. I don’t know have the part number but would you carry this replacement bolt?

Hey Jonathan,
You wouldn't be able to replace just the bolt and would need to replace the entire stinger/shank portion of the rack, which unfortunately is discontinued. The part number for the stinger assembly is 7521108001. You can try seeing if anyone else still has it but it'll likely be a hard find at this point. If you can't find it and end up having to replace the rack you can go with the newer version # TH9043PRO or we can talk more about what bikes you have and what kind of features you're wanting and I can look for something that checks all the boxes for you.

Hey Jonathan, were you able to track down that stinger assembly for your Thule Helium rack or decide to go with the newer Helium Pro version instead? Knowing what worked could help others trying to keep their older racks going.
