When you’re hauling a trailer, camper, or boat, you need a hitch that’s built to handle real weight. This Class IV hitch has a 2" x 2" receiver opening and is rated for up to 10,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 1,000 lbs tongue weight. If you’re using a weight distribution setup, those limits increase to 12,000 lbs GTW and 1,200 lbs tongue weight. That kind of strength makes it a solid choice for towing heavier gear without worrying about pushing your equipment too far.
You don’t need a lift or special tools to get this hitch on your vehicle. It bolts directly to the frame using existing holes—no drilling or welding required. The complete hardware kit and instructions are included, so all that’s left is to line it up and torque it down. Folks who’ve done this job before mention they were able to handle it with hand tools in their own driveway.
The fully welded steel construction gives this hitch its backbone, but the matte black powder coat makes it stand out. The finish adds corrosion resistance and hides dirt, scuffs, and dings better than glossy paint, giving it a rugged look that stays cleaner longer. It’s protected by a base coat underneath for extra durability against weather and road grime.

Whether you’re towing a small trailer or carrying bikes and cargo trays, the 2" receiver size fits most common hitch-mounted accessories. Ball mount, pin, and clip are sold separately, so you can choose the setup that matches your needs—whether that’s weekend towing or adding some extra storage capacity for road trips or work gear.

Holes are about a quarter inch off. I'll have to drill new holes in the van or send your product back or drill out. Your spacers a little bigger. That's terrible
I received my hitch today, and had it installed within about 15 minutes. The only challenge was that a few of the rectangular washers slipped when I tried to tighten the bolts - even after cleaning the mating surfaces; crafting a few "washers" out of 50-grit sandpaper solved the problem.
After installation, I used my label maker to conspicuously note the torque specs for future reference; you might want to consider adding such a label directly to the hitch for future customers.

No worries all is well. I crawled under our van with a torque wrench, and it was handy to have a label that specified the torque right there where I could see it.
So far I have hauled horse trailers, car trailers, junk trailers and more. This hitch has worked effortlessly with my Express Van to expand my capabilities. Easy to install, I have not had to worry about it ever since. And with a load rating of 10,000 pounds my van will fail before the hitch is exceeded.

After a year, still hauling, still working great.
The hitch came very quickly, easy to install and looks very well made.
Very fast delivery and easy installation. Love doing business with this place..
Even though it was back ordered, it did not take long to deliver. Fit was perfect. Went on easy. Can't wait to pull one of my trailers.
Perfect, installed in 10 minutes by myself using a conveniently-sized upside-down bucket to hold up one side. All bolts fit the predrilled holes. Easy-peazy.
Easy install, used floor jack to hold up one side, would be extremely easy with a helper
Very easy to install! Customer service was very professional and guided me to the right product for my van! It literally took 20 minutes to install the hitch. 6 bolts, no pre-drilling or welding required. A+++
Easy kit. Great quality!
All good, Had to pry to fit one bolt.
Fastest service ever!
Fast shipping, easy install, fit perfectly. Heavy duty, quality finish.

Perfect fit, fast easy install, only took about 10 minutes. Heavy duty
The eTrailer Hitch receiver Class IV for the GMC Savana 2500 van installed just as easily as the website video showed. The perfect-fit receiver accepted a standard hitch with no problem and allowed a trailer with attached tractor to be pulled with ease and confidence.

I love to hear how how smooth the install went for you!
Lines up perfect. Great fit and does not stick past bumper.
Excellent. I attached the hitch by myself. I used a step stool to prop one side and raised the other side up by hand. It took me about an hour to install.
Thanks etrailer
Exact fit for my van.
Fast easy installation.
Im happy.
I'm impressed, clean and sturdy construction, faster shipping than Amazon, quick and easy to bolt on. My van had a small receiver already on it, I ended up cutting 3 of the 4 bolts off with a cut off wheel. And I needed to drill out the third bolt hole just slightly to get the new bolts in. Suggestions: if your existing hitch bolts spin without coming undone try shoving one of the provided capture plates washers into the frame rail to get the nut off without needing angle grinder. And if your rails are too wide for the new washers just add one of the old ones, or any piece of hard stuff, to shim the space and keep the carriage bolt from spinning while you torque on the nuts. And of course it is easier to have a floor jack to lift the receiver into place. Overall a very straightforward install process, didn't even need to jack up the van, definitely worth it.

Still going strong, a useful upgrade
Works great. Haven't had any negative issues with this at all.
It fit my 2023 Chevy Express 2500 perfectly. No reaming of holes required, as I have read in some other reviews about Chevy Express hitches. The bolts went right in to the 4 rear holes, and the 2 rearmost holes on the front mounting position. It looks like it isn't designed to work with the frontmost holes as these don't line up and only 6 bolts and nuts are included. Those holes must be for some other vehicle. I had another person and a rolling floor jack to help me install it. The floor jack isn't really necessary but the extra set of hands is very useful.
The hitch arrived in a timely manner and was very easy to install. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.
Really nice hitch.......fit Perfectly......took about 45 minutes to install...Easy......Almost all of the hitch is covered by the plastic bumper, only the very center even shows at all....Looks like a CUSTOM hitch! This went on my 2010 GMC Conversion Van......Look at the final pictures...

No problems at all, Im VERY Happy with your product....quality and Easy to install....Thanks...
Hitches look good, waiting to be installed now. Would have given a 5 Star for Order, shipment and delivery timing - very fast. Only issue, two of the three cartons arrived with edges of the Hitches protruding outside the cartons with some scrapes on the hitch edges / paint... not bent, but cosmetic damage to the Matte Black painted Fisish. (FYI - I am a Packaging Engineer, and suggest some extra Corrugated Edge Wrap or Foam Block be placed onto the Bolt Edges - to prevent side to side movement during Transportation).
Simple installation. From unboxing to torquing the bolts was under 30 minutes! I installed it by myself using blocks of wood to hold the hitch in place, much easier and faster with 2 people.
Shipped very quickly. Was very easy to install and the videos on the etrailer site were helpful. The provided installation instructions state 20 minutes for a pro installer and 40 minutes for a novice. I must be a pro as it took me less than 20 minutes for the install!

You won't need to re-drill or enlarge the holes in the hitch mounting flanges. When a trailer hitch is constructed, softer steel is used in the side plates as opposed to the harder steel used in the crossbar and receiver tube. This allows the hitch to flex along with the vehicle to a certain degree. This flexibility can also allow the hitch to get slightly bent out of position during shipping and handling. The good news is that it's very easy to fix this if you know a few tricks as shown in the linked article.
