Question:

Im looking for a hitch carrier for my Honda PCX scooter on my Chevy Express van. When researching online I found multiple people from etrailer had recommended the Detail K2 # K2TMC201 in the past because it has a solid rack for the small scooter tires/suspension and also could handle the off-balance weight of the rear engine scooter. Doesnt appear that carrier is still on the market. Do you have another recommendation? Thanks!

Great question! I recommend using the Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches # UF48-979033 to carry your Honda PCX scooter on your 2004 Chevy Express Van. If you check out the reviews it looks like we have some photos of people using this to carry scooters like what you have. Be sure to try to get the scooter balanced on the carrier best you can so that the carrier will sit level.

If you don't already have a hitch on your Express Van then I recommend using the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e98861 because of the matte black finish that not only matches the trim on your van better, but it also helps to hide scratches from road debris better than a glossy finish will. Please note this won't fit a cutaway chassis model like what you'll see with a Class C motorhome.
