The length is 8 ft which is exactly what I needed. The lock is a bit chintzy but the cable and lock would not stop a determined thief. I would give it an average rating but kicked it up a notch because it is 8 ft not a typical 7 ft.
Just got this and will try it on my cover the next time we have hail in the forecast.
I was very happy to find that etrailer.com carried this 8 foot long cable as I couldn't find one this long anywhere. Most of the cables are 7 ft. long so my husband was happy because that is the size he wanted for his Dodge Challenger. The cable and lock were as described and the order was accurate. They also offer online product information if needed . Also I should mention the price was great too !!
I know the cover will still be on my Corvette in the morning with this security cable and lock in place.
