These scissor Jack's are much better than the factory ones. I bent my original stabilizers last season. These Jack's are much more heavy duty than factory. These have multiple mounting holes so just zip them in on the frame with self tapping screws. Easy install.

- TJSC-24
by:

I purchased these stabilizer jacks to replace two original jacks that were damaged. My original jacks were mounted at the extreme end of my frame rails and were repeatedly damaged when driving out of service stations with deep curbs and driving to remote camping sites. I was easily able to place both these new units farther forward to remove this hazard. I was able to position the jacks where I wanted and hold them in place to bolt on by raising them jacked up to place mounting bracket against the frame. Simply then used self tapping screws and job was complete.

Actually used these to make adjustable height stands for tools in my WoodShop like jointers and planers. They get a lot use as they get raised and lowered from usage to storage positions. These jacks have held up amazingly so far

Identifying and ordering the correct part has always been easy with etrailer.com. The company’s continuous communication throughout the process is extremely helpful and the delivery happened exactly when the company said. The part itself is of high durable quality and installation was simple. The price of the stabilizing jack was more than competitive with other vendors. I’ll continue to turn to etrailer.com for future needs.

Comments
The stability jack has functioned perfectly over the last year. It is everything I’d hoped for when I purchased it and it’s durability is obvious.

We've had this for a year and it still works as it should. It's not as thick as the ones that came with my trailer but it's been a decent replacement.

- TJSC-24

This is a much sturdier looking stabilizer jack than the original one I'm replacing. The only possible issue is that the frame bracket where it mounts on the two plates is about 1/8 inch wider than the original. I was hoping to use my original plates but I think I'll need to use the plates that came with the new jack. Anyway, those plates are also different (slightly larger with the mounting holes spaced differently) than the original but it is a much better product so I will make it work. I used ground freight for shipping to reduce the overall cost and i still received this in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company etrailer.

Extremely happy with these Jacks (stabilizers) , they are heavier-duty than the originals.

This is the second scissor jack i bought from etrailer. It is much sturdier than what came on my 2016 rpod. Requires minor alteration to frame for proper fit but very straight forward and easy to accomplish. Etrailer is very resposive and I would highly recommend them for your needs.

Replacing damaged stabilizer jack on a 2011 Rockwood pop-up. Much better construction than the original jack. Used heavier material in all the critical places. Replacing the damaged jack was easy. Mounting brackets are identical bolt pattern to the original so it bolted right on. Also, typical excellent etrailer service, jack arrived ahead of estimated delivery date. Very pleased.

Valterra Hydroflush Reverse Flush Adapter for RV Holding Tanks and Sewer Hoses - 45-Degree - F02-4100: Awesome solution to clean up the tanks thoroughly! Valterra Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tank - 3" Spigot to 3" Lug - T50A: Great valves so far! I'm making a work bench with a combo mitre saw/table saw, and I bought this jack to lift my mitre saw in the middle compartment. It has plenty of power for this task, but I'll have to figure out a way to steady the saw during lift. This is on me and not the jack...it's perfect!

etrailer Scissor Stabilizer Camper Jack, I purchased the stabilizer Jack to replace a bent stabilizer Jack on my TT. I was very pleased with how soon I received my item from etrailer. I also liked how easy it was to replace the old stabilizer Jack. I recommend etrailer to all my camping friends.

I bought this unit to replace an OE stabilizer jack I destroyed on a recent backwoods trip in NW Colorado. The unit is almost an exact double of the old one and works fine. I don't give these jacks a 5-star rating because they're built a little light for my type of abuse, but they're still very good. I recommend them.

Hello Etrailer Staff & Campers, I had to replace the two rear jacks on my 28' travel trailer. Trying to back up with the original jacks extended down bent them beyond use .......... Opps! The two new jacks that I ordered from Etrailer.com came early, priced right, and were actually made better than the "original factory" ones! Fellow Campers: 1) Always raise you jacks to the "full up-right" position when moving your trailer; 2) Keep in mind that these jacks are designed to "stabilize your trailer" and are not designed to "support" the entire weight of your unit ! 3) Don't forget to put a little grease on the screw shaft..makes them run smooooth!

Ordered the TJSC-24 scissor-jack to replace a bent one on my Coachman Clipper 17FQ. Not only was this a close duplicate to the original, but it was a superior quality product. I did have to drill a couple holes to accommodate the slight variance in the mounting bracket, but by no means expected to find a "one-size-fits-all." Great product, exceptional service. etrailer will be my go to for any future needs.

- TJSC-24

The replacement stabilizer jack performs as advertised and I installed it in minutes! Actually, the jack appears to be built better than the original equipment and priced about half the quote at the camper dealership. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a replacement.

This was a perfect replacement for a damaged jack. This is a quality product for a very fair price. This is not my first order with etrailer.com and will not be the last. Every product I have ordered is high quality and shipped quickly. I am never disappointed.

  • How to Determine if Scissor Jack Will Fit Camper
The Scissor Stabilizer Jack # TJSC-24, which also comes in a 2-pack # TJSCHD-24 and a 4-pack # TJSCHD-24-4, is a universal fit so you would need to double check our measurements to ensure they fit your travel trailer. When they are collapsed they measure 5" tall and then they can extend up to 23-3/4" tall to help stabilize your trailer. I am attaching a link to our returns policy that you can reference in regards to your question about a possible return.

  • Looking for Replacement Stabilizer Scissor Jack for RPod 179
The stabilizer jacks aren't trailer specific, but the mounting hole spacing is pretty standard across the board. I'd recommend removing the damaged jack and comparing the mounting plate hole spacing to what's shown in the provided photos. The # TJSC-24 or the # UF48-979006 are likely fits as the hole spacing is pretty similar between the two. The # UF48-979006 has a 6500 lb capacity and a 24 inch lift while the # TJSC-24 has a 2500 lb capacity and a 18-3/4 inch maximum lift. I've linked...
