Difference Between Scissor Stabilizer Jacks for RV

Hi, Are the stabilizer/trailer mounts on the scissor stabilizers the same regardless of the size?

A few of our scissor jacks have different weight capacities. For example, the part # UF48-979002 has a 6,500 lb capacity, the part # TJSC-24 has a 2,500 capacity and the # JSC-24-IND has a 5,000 lb capacity.

I lubed the scissor Jacks on my 5th wheel with a silicone lube and now they dont hold. After putting tension on them they begin to unwind . What should I clean them with if anything. Never had this happen before. Thanks

It sounds like the jack screw may be just a bit over-lubricated. Try spraying some carb cleaner on the mechanism near the fitting to see if this helps. It might be something that resolves itself over time too as some debris or rust develops around the screw.
