Fantastic mount. It is a little bit of work to adjust because of the dampening mechanism is so tight. However we used it to pull 8500 load across the country and it worked great.

The new trailer hitch is awesome! I needed it to pull my new 3800 pound cargo trailer. And I chose etrailer over other purchase options because of the excellent service I always receive!
Since I needed to get an adjustable ball mount for my truck hitch anyway I decided to spend the extra dollars and go with the Rebellion XD. Really glad I did because there are times when I trailer my boat or camper over gravel and dirt roads for miles that are less than ideal and this helps with the constant pounding. Solid and well built - handles anything I need to trailer.

It performed exactly as advertised. I hauled a 1,600 pound bull in full size horse trailer 80 miles and the ride was smooth. I had none of the bouncing I had using the standard hitch on previous hauls.
Smoothed the ride out. I've only had about 400lbs in 2 place horse trailer but made a difference.
I lent it to a friend of mine who was taking a load of hogs to market and he was really impressed with the difference it made! It was just like nothing was behind him. He had commented to me how bad the trailer rode so I told him to try the hitch. It's on his list of must have items!
My only concern is clearance.
I love this hitch! I drive an 01 2500 ram with leaf springs and my old hitch was a solid 8" hitch. My trailer weights about 5k lbs. With uneven road surfaces, my trailer and truck would pitch and jar as I was driving. An unbelievable difference with my new rebellion xd. So much smother. It's almost as if I wasn't connected to my trailer.
The folks at etrailer.com were very helpful and professional in assisting me obtain an alternative to my initial order which was on back order until December due to the Covid-19 virus. I initially ordered the Curt Rebellion XD Shock-Absorbing Adjustable Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 6-1/4" Drop - 15K with a 2" and a 2 5/16" stainless steel balls. Due to their diligence I was able to learn of the backorder status immediately. Consequently, they were able to provide a work around (chrome balls as opposed to stainless steel). While their dedication facilitated on-time delivery saving the day. I not only recommend them, but I will definitely shop with them again.

Used this on a trip last year. Had a sway hitch to compare to with the same equipment. This definitely reduced the up/down pressure on the tow vehicle and allow the tow vehicle a better road stance than the other hitch. I followed the directions and greased it before first use. Maybe too much, so make sure you wipe the fill point after the first trip. :)
Got my new shock hitch, had my old hide away pulling my landscape and enclosed trailers until I got my new shock hitch when pulling my trailers you don’t even know that they are being polled no shake no rattle no jerking especially when you go across the railroad tracks love my new hitch
Have not used this yet but seems well made.

This ball mount has worked very well for me. Easy enough to adjust and secure when adjusted.
So far so good. We tow an Airstream with a 950 pound tongue weight.
I believe it helped with the ride. No more clunk when stopping. Would give it 5 stars if hitch size was 2.5. Love the adjustment. Wish they would make with equalizer bars. Would be cheaper than air shock and I wouldn't have to switch.
Would not fit. The hitch measured as wide as 2.110" in several areas and was very uneven. I needed to use the hitch the next day, so I ended up having to grind down my brand-new hitch just to get it to fit into my new receiver.
There was also slag and several burrs inside the pin holes. I had to clean and chase the holes before the pins would fit properly.

It’s been good. Some of the pins are difficult to remove, but overall I would buy another.
