Extensive Testing
InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. These locks have a shear strength of 42,000 lbs.
Installation
The short pin included with this set is used as a hitch lock to secure your Curt Rebellion XD adjustable ball mount to your 2" or 2-1/2" hitch. The other 2 locks replace the pins that secure the ball platform to the adjustable shank.
Excellent product, great way to lock the tow hitch and tongue to vehicle, saves having to remove when ever the vehicle is parked unattended. Also having the 3 locks single keyed saves carrying multiple keys. Recommend the product 10/10
