The chest is made from 0.056" Brite-Tread aluminum, so you don't have to worry about the box itself rusting. The front, back, and bottom are formed from a single piece of aluminum, while internal bends and a V-pan stiffener reinforce the structure. A textured black powder coat provides the finished exterior.
A closed-cell foam gasket helps seal out moisture and other elements when the lid is closed. The lockable paddle handle helps protect the contents, while a dampened gas shock provides smooth, controlled lid operation. The crowned lid and full-length hidden hinge add strength without leaving an exposed hinge along the back.
