Question:
I am looking at the EQ37120ET. I tow with a 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4WD Duramax. My trailer is a 2013 Forest River Grey Wolf toy hauler 21RR. I usually load my 2014 Harley Street glide 1200+_ lbs in the trailer. My last trip I noticed more sway than usual which is the reason for this research. My big questions is, my current shank is a Curt Rebellion XD, will my current shank work with this system or do I need the kit with a shank? Thanks, Larry

Hi Larry,
The Curt Rebellion XD Shock Absorbing Adjustable Ball Mount # C83WR is not going to be compatible with the head of the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37120ET so you will need to use the Equal-i-zer shank.
This system will definitely help with the sway you've been experiencing but you'll want to get a measurement of your fully loaded tongue weight before purchasing. This hitch is rated for 800lbs to 1,200lbs so it's likely going to be too high of a weight class for it to properly distribute the weight of your trailer since the GVWR is only 7,693lbs. You'll want to be right around the middle of the tongue weight range of the hitch for the best performance. Let me know what your fully loaded tongue weight measures and I'd be happy to find the right setup for you.

Thanks Kevin. My tongue weight scale arrived and I have finally had a chance to load up the camper with water, motorcycle and accessories. The tongue weight comes in right at 1,000 lbs. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Larry
