Can this be used with a GMC 2500 HD with a sleeve adapter for the 2 1/2 receiver? I do not want the 75lb boat anchor that fits the 2 1/2 receiver. What is the weight of this version?

Hey Troy! Yes, you can use the Curt Rebellion XD # C83WR with a reducer sleeve like the # BTBRV64FR. This ball mount weighs 43 lbs so it is quite a bit lighter than the 2-1/2" version.

The Curt Rebellion XD is a great hitch. My '25 GMC 2500 came with the sleeve adapter, and the Curt hitch works great towing 24' enclosed car trailer.

Yes it can be used with a reducer sleeve. I love this hitch. I pull and 11,000 pound boat and 40ft travel trailer. Both with hefty tongue weight with my F250. You won’t regret buying this hitch. It helps quite a bit when going over dips, humps & bumps in the road. Just grease the zerk fitting now and then and I personally lubricate the hitch now and then because it stays on my truck most of the time. Helps protect it more from the elements.
