Hello Fred, thanks for reaching out. The Curt Rebellion XD Shock Absorbing Adjustable Ball Mount # C83WR weighs 42 lbs all together. The dual ball platform by itself is 12 lbs. So, the shank portion is about 30 lbs by itself.
