Getting the trailer height right makes all the difference in how it tows. This product works as described. I used it in the rise position with a 2 5/16 ball to pull a 40ft bumper pull RV that weighs about 8000lbs.

This drop hitch is well made and has a nice protective finish. We just bought a much bigger truck and the drop will allow towing of my smaller trailer nice and level. The specified amount of drop is accurate.

This drop hitch rated at 10,000 lbs is so much cheaper than anyone around me and the quality is excellent. I've used etrailer for several purchases over the years they always deliver. I'm always impressed with their selection and pricing. On this last order they upgraded my shipping and I received my order 4 days earlier than expected.
After a year the mount shows no wear at all I would recommend this product to any one needing a good hitch mount, with a large rise and drop.

I love ordering from etrailer. Easy to find what I'm looking for and it gets here quick. Everything they carry is great quality from my experience so far. I needed yet another drop hitch for my truck this time for a 2 5/16' ball. Great price for something that is rated 10k pounds.
I had to flip this upside down and put a hitch ball on this to get it to work with my Dodge Journey and my camper. It's held up without issue for a half-dozen camper pulls. I wish the paint hadn't already started flaking off at the receiver end, but that's to be expected when you connect metal to metal. The other parts of this haven't started flaking yet after a year so hopefully it continues to hold up.

completely satisfied , good shipping, good products . I use the 2 inch hitch and 2 inch ball about every week on my jeep grand cherokee . I use the trailer dolly to park the utility trailer behind the shed.by using the trailer dolly I don't have to drive the jeep on the lawn. (sorry I don't have pictures to send.)
Worked really well - Jeep Grand Cherokee has a high back bumper - Kayak trailer is low to the ground and we like to pull it level.

Working well - use it most every weekend.
Was needing a 7-8 inch ride for my camper that could sustain a GVW of at least 5000 lbs. Let me say, it’s a hard to find item. Thankfully I called Etraer and with some research, found me the perfect ball mount. It’s heavy duty for a reasonable price.

Very droppy drop hitch, strong and pret ty.
The hitch was able to perform as I had intended it to. However instead of using it as a drop I am using it as a rise and it would have been better if I had a 10 inch rise. I am using a front hitch (which I also got from etrailer) to maneuver a trailer into a tight parking space.
