What Ball Mount is Needed for 8 inches of Drop

@JamesonC the distance from the bottom of the coupler lip down to the ground is 23". The distance from the top of the hitch opening down to the ground is 14 3/4". The top of the hitch itself is 15". Thanks

Hey Travis, based on those numbers you'd need a drop of about 8 inches like the Curt # C45338.

@Travis No, ball mounts with more drop don't affect the tongue weight capacities of the hitch.

The second pin hole of the Curt ball mount part #C45240 that you referenced is 3 inches behind the first one. That means the second pin hole is 6-1/4 inches from the weld bracket.
