I was stranded at the campground with 1 slide out extended and 1 retracted so that I couldn’t leave or get to my inside refrigerator. One call to etrailer and they made sure I was ordering the correct item and that it was in stock, shipped overnight and it promptly arrived the next day and I was on my way!

I did not find it easy to program to my 2011 Cougar. It works but the pre-sets are not the same as what actually happens. I.E. the awning is actually the front leg control, and the rear stabilizers are the main slide out.

  • Replacement Linc Remote for a Forest River Sonoma RV
The Replacement New-Style Linc Analog Remote part # LC292614 is the correct replacement for your 2017 Forest River Sonoma 240RKS. The etrailer logo in the lower right hand corner is just a sticker we place on our products for advertising purposes but it will not be on the actual remote you receive.

  • Finding Momentary Push Button for Programming LINC Remote
The momentary push button is actually not on the remote part # LC292614 that you referenced. It's on the receiver of the LINC system. I reread the instructions a few times till I caught that too so I understand the confusion! Normally the receiver is located above where your generator is stored.

  • Does Remote Need to be Changed When Fuse is Blown to Activate Functions on 5th Wheel Trailer
If you are having a fuse blow when you use a remote, like part # LC292614, for your 2018 Forest River Wildwood Heritage Ultra Lite then that is an indication that you need to check the wiring for the remote. If something were not activating then the remote could be the culprit but it wouldn't be able to cause a fuse to blow. Check the wiring from the receiver for the remote and make sure everything has a solid connection and there aren't any places with exposed wiring or a bad ground....

I spoke to my contact at Lippert and they informed me that if the Replacement New-Style Linc Analog Remote part # LC292614 drains the 2 AAA batteries in only a few days then there is an internal short and it will need to be replaced. This remote only transmits a signal, it does not receive one therefore there really couldn't be anything else that would cause this issue. Please note there is a power button atop the remote that should be used each time you are finished using it.

  • What Does Lippert Linc Setup Do for RVs
The Lippert Linc system that the remote part # LC292614 is designed to work with is an option that OEM RV manufacturers will install on their campers to give you one remote to control most of the power options of the trailer. For example the slide outs, the awnings, the stabilizer jacks, the landing gear jacks. Basically the three top buttons control things that slide out like awnings and slide outs. You'll press select to highlight which you wish to control and then press in and out to...

  • Troubleshooting Lippert Linc System Where Outside Light Has to be On for Interior Light to Come On

Somehow the circuit that activates your outside flood light is also the activation for the lights that the Lippert light circuit is controlling inside as well. That said, Lippert control components like your Linc system are known to get buggy after a while and unplugging them and allowing them reset typically takes care of quirky issues like this so that's what I would try.
