Question:
how do you open the controller to change battery. it has 2 screws but case does not open when removed

The two halves of the replacement remote # LC292614 fit together snugly so after removing the 2 screws from the back you may need to use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry the two halves apart. Once you get it started you will be able to separate the two halves with your hands.
