Question:

My battery was dead on my camper. I am trying to hook up the wireless remote and it will not work. It’s white and oval shaped remote. I’ve held down the power button and until the light stays steady on main slide but it will not work. Is there a certain way to connect it any hep would be appreciated

Based on your description it sounds like you have the Replacement New-Style Linc Analog Remote - 5 Function # LC292614. In order to sync this remote you need to start by pressing and holding the momentary push button on the receiver. Next, press the "Light" button on your remote (the button that looks like a lightbulb) until the relay on the receiver "clicks." Then release the momentary push button on the receiver. The remote should now be synced with the receiver.

I have attached the instructions for the remote which lists these steps to sync the transmitter to the receiver. It also covers Mode 1: Normal Operation and Mode 2: Configuration mode.

Our new to us 2017 Forest River Salem 30KQBSS has the Lippert Replacement New-Style Linc Analog Remote - 5 Function Part Number: LC292614 mounted right inside the door. I have tried locating the receiver and have looked everywhere possible but can't seem to locate it. I am trying to get the remoted paired. Any ideas on where the receiver is located?

@Angie that varies from trailer to trailer. If you still haven't found it I would call the Forest River with your VIN and see if they can better direct you.
