Thanks for letting us help Larry. The remote receiver can be pretty well hidden. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a specific factory location for the receiver in your Salem Cruise Lite, but there are several common locations that other owners have reported finding theirs.

A few places I'd recommend checking are:

Front pass-through storage: Look along the walls of the storage compartment, particularly behind any thin plywood or plastic access panels.
Power distribution panel: Check inside the cabinet that houses your main fuse/breaker panel and in the surrounding compartments. The receiver may be mounted behind a removable wall or partition.
Cabinets and appliances: Some owners have found the receiver inside cabinets beneath the sink, underneath or behind the oven, or in cabinetry near the bathroom.

Since your remote controls multiple functions such as the awning and stabilizer jacks, another good strategy is to follow the wiring from one of those components toward the interior of the trailer. Those wires will eventually lead toward the receiver/control system.

If you can reply with the exact model number of your Salem Cruise Lite, I can dig a little deeper and see if I can narrow down the receiver location for your particular floorplan.

What locations have you already checked?
