Replacing Batteries on Lippert Linc Analog Remote # LC292614

Question:

How do I change the battery in my lippert analog remote. I try to unscrew the back but screws , dont come out and back wont contr off.

To replace the batteries on the Lippert Linc Analog Remote # LC292614 you do need to first remove the two screws on the back of the unit. Once they are removed the two halves of the remote will likely still be pretty tight against each other so you will want to use something like a flathead screwdriver to gently pry them apart so that you can access the batteries.

What is the proper batter replacement for the 2614 remote. There is no diagram inside the remote.

The # LC292614 will take 2 AAA batteries.

What is the orientation of the batteries in this remote

The battery orientation on this remote is VERY difficult to determine. It is actually stamped below the batteries, but is nearly impossible to see. I used a magnifying glass and was just able to see a small tab to indicate the + side of the battery. For reference, as you look at the batteries, the battery on the left is + down, and the battery on the right is + up.
