Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the replacement DeeMaxx Disc Brake Caliper with the Maxxe coating, the stainless steel brake pads for 3,500 pound to 6,000 pound axles. Now this replacement caliper right here will fit the DeeMaxx Disc Brake assemblies. As we mentioned, it fits 3,500 pound to 6,000 pound axles, and this is a cast iron construction, so it will prevent flexing, keeps your braking torque consistent. It is a floating design, so it does ensure smooth braking with limited wear and potential leaks.

They do use a corrosion-resistant Maxxe coating on it, which is great for use around fresh or brackish water. Does have 1,000 hour salt spray rating. Now, the brake pads themselves, they are ceramic brake pads, which will provide superior performance for more consistent braking. They will withstand high temperatures for maximum wear. They are a slotted design and that'll minimize brake squeal for a quiet ride.

And then we mention stainless steel. The backing plaids of those brake pads are stainless steel backing plates, which provide superior corrosion resistance. The piston diameter, the piston that's in here, the diameter on is two-and-a-quarter inches. Also, if you notice on the outside here, they do have laser etched instructions on it. This will take the guesswork out of installing and bleeding your brakes.
