Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement stainless steel piston for Kodiak Disc Brake Calipers. Now this piston fits Kodiak disc brake caliper models that have an axle capacity of 3,500 to 6,000 pounds. And this piston measures right at two and a quarter inches in diameter, which is 30% larger than traditional models giving you more braking torque and better stopping power, giving you shorter stopping distances. Now the stainless steel construction provides absolute rust protection while minimizing sticking by maintaining the integrity of the piston. Now, we do have a rebuilt kit that not only includes this piston, but it also includes a rubber piston seal, a rubber dust boot with stainless steel core, two rubber sleeve bushings, and two stainless steel guide bolts.
If you would like to check that kit out, I am including our item number on your screen to that kit. You can just take that item number and put it in the search field of our website here at etrailer.com and it will take you to that kit. Well, that concludes our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy.
Thank you for joining me..
Again, haven’t installed them yet but they are in great condition, no marks, scratches, etc. interesting though they came with a silicone dust boot attached to each piston. Not sure if this was in error or what, but now I have two extra boots
