Availability of Adapter for Gorilla-Lift Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist On Round Tube Trailer

Question:
Hello. I was wondering if you have adapters for the gorilla lift gate assist for round tube trailers? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

Expert Reply:
Hello Pj; we do not have an adapter for the Gorilla-Lift # GL1. However, as you can see in the picture below an adapter is not necessary for installation. This lift assist is perfectly compatible with round tube trailers as is. The only exception is if the tubing is larger than 2" in diameter. If your tubing is that large you will need longer mounting bolts or you can spot-weld on the side rails.
