Question:
Do I need to completely remove small spring as it is not needed? Instructions tell you to cut loose from cable end. Can small spring remain inside large spring?

With the Gorilla Lift Ramp Spring Assist # GL1 there are two sets of springs and you can disconnect the inner spring if you want to lower the spring tension and the outer spring will do the job just fine.
