The Gorilla-Lift Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist # GL1 that you referenced can be applied to an open utility trailer with round-tube side walls. I spoke with my contact at Gorilla-Lift and she confirmed that it will work on your trailer's 2 inch round tubing.
The bolts that are included with Gorilla-Lift for installation on the side rails measure 2-1/2 inches long. If these bolts are not long enough to install the lift on your 2 inch round rails, you may need to longer 5/16 inch bolts to complete the installation. These can be found at a local hardware store.
The trailer side rail height should be between 12 inches - 24 inches from the trailer bed, and the trailer tailgate height should be between 4 feet - 6 feet from the trailer bed.
